"and the latest character to join our curiosity voyage... maxine!" mr clarke announced. "it's max," the red head snapped blankly. the teacher was confused ,"what?" he asked.
"no one calls me 'maxine'. it's max." she took a seat in front.
Y/N found her self staring at the girl a few times but everytime she caught herself she'd focus back onto whatever mr clarke was rambling on about.
the red-head also found herself staring at the girl to her left ,at the end of the row. she admired the features of the girl and even caught her staring a couple of times from the corner of her eye.
the class was over and Y/N went to her locker. "quite the starer, aren't you, stranger?" Y/N closed the locker to see the new girl talking to her.
"how exactly would you know that if you weren't staring back, mayfield." Y/N pointed out. the red-head only looked at the floor as her answer to the other girls statement.
"Y/N," she stated putting her hand out, waiting for max to shake it.
max smiled and shook it. she then said with a laugh ,"you already know my name and i'm going to stick with stranger."
