Chapter 19 : Second thought

NEVAEH's POV

The next day I go to my classes as usual, but it's like Mattia's been .. avoiding me

I get to the cafeteria for lunch and sit next to Millie, Ale, Kai and Mattia

We all eat and talk

Nevaeh : "Hey Mattia, can we talk ?" He nods his head and we get up and walk away from everyone

Mattia : "What ?" He asks with a little attitude

Nevaeh : "Are you ok ? I mean because ver since last night you completely-" he interrupted me

Mattia : "Last night was nothing" he says blankly

Nevaeh : "What ?"

Mattia : "Oh I'm sorry. Last. Night. Was. A. Mistake"

Nevaeh : "B-but you said you love me.."

Mattia : "I was drunk Nevaeh. My head wasn't in the right place"

Nevaeh : "What do you mean ?"

Mattia : "Damnit Nevaeh I don't like you.!" I whisper shouted

I looked at him in shock and with water in my eyes

Nevaeh : "Whatever" I speed walk away and bump into someone

Brian : "I'm so sorry-" he looks at me and stops mid sentence

Brian : "Are you crying ?" I nod, "Come into my class" I follow him into the classroom and sit down

He sits next to me

Brian : "What's wrong ?"

Nevaeh : "Boy problems" he sighs

Brian : "Look-" I interrupt him

Nevaeh : "Why did you leave ?"

Brian : "I'm sorry ?"

Nevaeh : "Me and mom... why did you leave us? And Kendall.." He looks at me shocked

Brian : "So you are.. my daughter" I nod

Nevaeh : "Yea.. one of the two daughters you left" He sighed

Brian : "I uh.. I left because I was selfish. I don't know what got into me. I was dumb and young an-and scared" he paused

Brian : "I didn't know how to be a dad.. look Nevaeh I'm so sorry I didn't write, text or call"

Nevaeh : "Times were so hard, but you weren't there. My dad wasn't there to tell me who I should or shouldn't date. You weren't there for my quince or-" I couldn't finish my sentence because I started crying

He wrapped me in his arms I started to sob

Nevaeh : "I had to dance alone at my quince because you weren't there. I had my heart broken so many times because you weren't there...I was almost raped" he gasped and he hugged me a bit tighter

Brian : "I am sorry for leaving you and Kendall, but I promise you. I won't leave again"

Nevaeh : "I forgive you"

A/N : So I can't decide what book to write next. And since school is coming up again I decided that I'm going to finish this book first and release another book when all the chapters are done 😩LUV U💓
