A few monthes later...
The seven kittens all were playing inside the entrance to their UpWalkers house. None of them ever went in, but the UpWalkers liked to have them sleep in the small entrance room for each night. Pizza and Pepper were often gone hunting, and the kittens learned games to entertain themselves.
"Nibbles, come on, Pizza says we can hunt with her!" Lion called out to one of Lucy's kittens. The two had become inseparable ever since Pepper started taking care of her. Nibbles had looked like Sugar as she got older. Two of Nibbles' sisters, Chili and Sasha, were calicoes with solid patches of orange, black, and white fur, unlike Nibbles, Sugar, and Pizza. The last of Lucy's litter was Jeezy, a skinny gray she-cat with a white underbelly.
"Coming, Lion!" Raven chuckled as Nibbles stumbled over her own feet trying to catch up to Lion.
"Mama, you're going to have to watch under your paws," Sugar joked to Pepper, smiling.
When Lion came back alone, the kittens knew something was wrong. Lion never did answer any of the questions of what happened to Nibbles. Lion started to hide from the others, and they all didn't know what to do.
