the dragon continent is home to the hidden kingdom of asteria the most technologically advanced and strongest kingdom on remnant for one very important reason they hold the power to travel to other dimensions because of this they have traveled to so many dimensions it's hilarious some of those dimensions have made pacts with asteria
asteria itself is a beautiful nation with ten major cities each city is governed by one of the elemental swords of logos the swords themselves also came from another dimension and it is through these swords that asteria is able to actually go from one dimension to another all ten swords are linked to the haouken Xross saber the sword of stars
each city has it's own army however the army is made up of several different units these units are
the dragon knights: dragon riders
gearframes: giant mechs with two pilots
shadows: assassins
royal guard: the knights of the nation these guys are heavily armored men that can take pretty much anything and survive ninety five percent of the royal guard are men do to the fact that immense physical strength is required to survive as a a royal guard
valkyries: winged woman with angelic wings who fly alongside the dragon riders these are all women since there has yet to be a male with the angelic wings that are required to be a valkyrie
shinigami: these are actually from another world due to the fact that asteria aided the gotei 13 over three hundred years ago in return the central forty six gave a single man the powers of a shinigami of course that man spread his power among others of asteria's forces of course asteria started empowering the shinigami by granting them techniques such as the breathing technique to increase their strength
gunners: these guys work at the back of the army they are as their name implies long range units that strike at the enemy from afar
scouts: because the assassins weren't really meant for reconnaissance and because the council wanted fairness since each section was commanded by a sword the scouts were formed who were specifically designed for information gathering
rangers: they are a subsection of the dragon riders who's essentially a means of gathering information the scouts cannot the rangers are a branch of elite dragon riders and scouts combined together
these are the nine sections of the phoenix legion because the tenth sword is the leader he does not have his own troops to keep his power in line
although each one is lead by a particular sword of logos all ten of them have their own dragon and their own gearframe and they all have their own zanpakuto
