Later that afternoon you find yourself of a stressful business call online talking to your boss, "Y/N if you don't pull yourself together I'm going to have to fire you" your boss says firmly.
"Oh I'm sure that won't be necessary, I will find you more customers and you will see a change in my work behaviour I can assure you" desperately trying to hold onto your well paid job.
"Okay Y/N I will give you 3-4 months to make a change"
"Oh my god 3-4 months" you say under your breath "yes that won't be a problem" you say back
You end the call and go downstairs where ransom is feeding Dodger you pass him and make yourself a cup of  tea and go outside on the balcony you sit on one of the deck chairs and place your tea on the table next to you. 5 minutes later ransom sees you sitting alone with your head in your hands "hey sweetheart, everything alright?" He says softly yet concerned
"If I don't make a big change at work, I'm going to loose my job..." you say letting out a huge sigh
"Don't worry honey I'll help you make a change, I know there's been a lot going on at the moment but I'll try and look for a job, so that way we can both have a future without worrying about money" he tells you while gently massaging your tense shoulders.
This shocked you because ransom had never been to interested in a job before getting arrested, maybe going to prison had changed him for the better, he was still an asshole to his family of course, you looked up at him and held his hand "thank you ransom this really helps" he leans down kissed you on your forehead "I'll get dinner on, I was thinking maybe some Italian pasta hey" while doing some goofy Italian gestures making you laugh. You turned around and stared into the beautiful view drinking your tea.

After dinner you went upstairs to take a shower, you washed your hair ect. After that you walk back into your bedroom where you see ransom and Dodger laying in bed you sit down on your side of the bed wrapped up in towels when you spot ransom reading one of your favourite novels "enjoying that are we?" You say gazing at him "oh it's not that bad" he reply's
You turn around and start drying your hair and let out a sigh "hey you okay Y/N?" Ransom asks
"Yeah I'm fine just tired" you yawn
He leans over rubs your back and kisses your shoulder. 20 minutes later your in your pyjamas and your hair is dried, you get into bed and snuggle up to ransom who was waiting for you. You give each other a  good  night kiss "I love you ransom" you say drifting of to sleep
"I love you more Y/N" ransom reply's spooning you with his arms wrapped round your waist. You get comfy and fall asleep in the arms of your lover.
