*years later*

You walk into Aces room and wake him up for school

"Ace let's go time for school"
"No can I stay home"
"No now let's go"

You do the same for Malia and wake her up

You wait for the kids to come down and give them their breakfast witch was pancakes and orange juice

As they ate their food Vinnie was still asleep

"Ace can you wake your dad up for me"
"No"
"What"
"No he gets mad at me when I do"
"Fine I will"

I walk upstairs to see Vinnie wasn't even there you couldn't remember if he said he was leaving or not but you just let it slide knowing him he's been leaving like this all the time and coming home around 9

"Ok let's go grab your back packs and Silvia will be taking you to school today

"Yayy"
"I like her mom she's nice"
"Yeah she is"
"Awh thank you guys"

You gave the kids a kiss goodbye and they walked out the door and in came Vinnie

"Where have you been?"
"The warehouse"
"Ok and you couldn't have told me that or texted me?"
"No I had to leave in a rush because there's been problems going on at the warehouse"
"Like what"
"Two of my people has stolen from me"
"What did they steal?"
"Drugs"
"Drugs?"
"Yeah"
"This whole time we've been together and you never told me you had drugs in your warehouse!"
"VINNIE THE KIDS HAS BEEN THERE"
"Chill it's in the basement witch only I have a key for but I guess I left it there by accident and they stole million dollars worth of drugs"

"So what'd you do"
"I killed him"

You never questioned him because he never gave full answers that made any sense anyways

Hours later—

The kids were coming home soon Silvia went to pick them up
(She's the maid that's been with us for about 5 years now I love her she's amazing)

You hear Vinnie say catch you turn around and catch a knife being thrown at you

"Wth Vinnie"
"I had to see if you still had your skills"
"Of course I do that's a skill I've had since I was a child"

You throw the knife back at him and the kids walk in

You guys look at each other abs turned around acting like you guys were doing something Vinnie attempts to hide the knife but his dumb ass couldn't

"Dad what are you doing"
"Is that a knife?"
"Uh yes"

Vinnie walks away without saying another word
"So kids how was school!"
"Amazing I'm so glad it's our last day of school"
"I know you guys ready for summer"
"YES I get to play my game all day now"
"We'll you still need sleep Ace"
"Maybe"

He walks upstairs to his room and you see Malia with a sad face trying to hide

"What's wrong baby"

You walk over to the couch and Malia follows, you pat for her to sit next to you and she does

"It's just my best friend is moving and I'm not gonna see her anymore and I don't know what to do"
"Baby you have more friends"
"But not like her.. she got me she was there she was the person who cheered me up at school"
"I know I'm sorry baby but your starting 8th grade now witch means school will be getting harder maybe just try to focus on that"
"Yeah.."

She walks up to her room you sit there rubbing your temples trying to breath

"What's wrong babe"
"Nothing"
"Babe come on now"
"It's Malia she's upset cause her best friend is moving this summer"
"She'll get through she's tough like you"

You smile a little and went and took a shower you felt your body relax a little as the hot water hit your skin

After about an hour you got out abs got dressed

"MOM"

"WHAT"

You walk down stairs to see someone standing in the door way with a mask on not being able to see their face

"Hello Katherine"
"Kids go up stairs"
"No mom"
"NOW"
As the kids run upstairs Malia calls her father
"What do you want, who are u"

"Awh you don't remember me?"
"Your.. Vinnies fa father"
"Correct"
"But I thought u died, Vinnie killed you"
"I'm stronger than you think I can get through getting stabbed 4 times and shot by my own son, kind of sad if you think about it"

"No.. no go to hell"
"Awh I guess I'll see you there"

You watch and freeze as you see him pull a gun out of his pocket and shot

"MOMM"
"MAMA"

You hear the kids yelling and you black out

Vinnies pov:

I went back to the warehouse because no one here knows how to handle shit around here

I was walking through the door before my phone rang

"Honey-, hey what's wrong"

"Some guy- he's in the house"

You turn around and start running back to the car you take off and hear a gun shot over the phone

"MALIA! Who was that"

"MAMAA"

You hear Malia scream out for her mom

"No.. no no"

You hang up the phone and drove and ran every light and stop sign till you got to the house

You see an ambulance driving to the house

You pull into the drive way and see Katherine being pulled out on a bed and into the ambulance she went

"DAD"

You see Malia and Ace run towards you crying

You eyes fill with tears as you try to hold it in

"Dad- I- mo- mom-"

"Hey hey breath"

You tell them to get into the car as do you and follow the ambulance to the hospital

You guys arrive and see them rushing Katherine to the emergency room you catch up to them and hold Katherines hand

"You can't go past here"
"No no she's my wife"
"I'm sorry sir let us do our job"
"NO!"
"Security!"
"Das come on come sit"

You see another doctor walk up to you
"I need her name"
"Ka- Katherine hacker"

Malia walks back with you to the waiting room you up and see Ace trying not to cry, but you couldn't hold it in anymore seeing my kids like this and knowing the love of my life is- you fell to your knees and felt tears fall from you face and hit the floor

*hours later*
Malia had fallen asleep on Ace's shoulder

You see a doctor come out

"For hacker"

You stand up

"She made it through the surgery but she is still asleep"

"When can I see her"

"Right now"

"Malia Ace come on moms out"

They get up and we follow the doctor to her room

You see Katherine laying there... almost as if she was dead

You let the kids sit with her first

After 30 minutes she starts opening her eyes slowly
