Charlie noticed that they passed welcome sing and looked out of the window excitedly _we've entered the city Gray, we're there!_he said while smiling happily.

Gray sighed, wondering why was Charlie so happy about, it was just another murder, another case, another monster to kill, he was jealous of younger male's enthusiasm.

Gray  couldn't help but smile at the sight of excited smile on Charlie's face
_yeah, we're here, this will be interesting_he said and Charlie nodded _ yeah, but let's get some food and rest first...this time I will choose the hotel though_he said and both Gray and Amanda ended up laughing at that _ what can I say, you're the boss now _said Gray jokingly as he kept driving, entering more lively part of the city.

Amanda frowned _ look at these people, not having any idea what's hiding in shadows, they're so lucky_she said.
Gray couldn't help but think that coming from a person who got herself in this situation on her own it sounded quite ironic.

Soon enough, one of the quite fancy looking hotels caught Charlie's attention.
_there! let's go there!_he said pointing at it. Gray sighed knowing that he wouldn't be able to afford it _sorry darling but it's too expensive for me_he said, feeling guilty for letting Charlie down.

_it's okay I can pay I managed to grab my stuff before leaving so I still have my credit card on me_said Amanda and smiled so Gray ended up turning the car towards the hotel, he hated being in depth but as he imagnes Charlie's happy smile, he decided that it was worth it.

He got out of the car and this time Charlie made sure to take the map with them.
They checked the map to make sure that there were no summons nearby. Amanda glanced at the map weirdly, as if she saw it as a danger of some sort.

 Group entered the hotel.
Gray and Charlie couldn't help but look around astonished.
Considering their salary they never had the luxury of visiting places like this.

The coal-black ceiling was decorated with thousands of tiny lights, making it look like a starry night and the white marble pillars  decorated with thin layer of gold here and there supported said ceiling.

Gray whistled amazed from this luxurious interior
_whoa, Charlie you do have a taste, we ended up in a 5-star hotel_he said while looking around fascinated.

Charlie didn't seem all that happy thought. He looked at Amanda nervously _are you sure you have enough money to get rooms here? this place seems very expensive_he said.

Amanda chuckled as she waved it off _don't worry I know the guy who owns this place,  he'll give us some discount_she said amused.
Charlie looked at her surprised
_you do?_he asked really not expecting this.

Amanda nodded _yup, there is no way I'd lie to someone as adorable as you_she said and patted his head, messing his golden locks.
Gray glared at her irritated, he didn't like Amanda that much now.

Amanda noticed Gray's reaction and chuckled _what, are you jealous mr detective?_she asked amused.
That caught Gray off guard and caused him to blush.
_wha- no! of course not!_he said and immediately looked away to hide his flustered face.

Charlie couldn't help but chuckle at that. It was unusual to see Gray all shy and flustered, It was kinda new and interesting to him.
It made him want to get to know them better now.

Amanda then walked towards the receptionist with a polite smile on her face.
Gray couldn't hear what she was saying since he stood too far away but whatever she said seemed to he working since receptionist quickly nodded and walked off.

Few minutes later, she came back.
A tall man following her behind.
This man had wavy coal black hair and deep, green eyes.
He had slim, Greek nose, thin rose lips and strong square jaw.
He wore golden colored thin, square glasses and fancy black suit with scarlet tie.
