| PART ONE |

Come, shall't thy open thy great book of time

So this mortal's eyes may gaze in wonder?

Let me find the true path that shall be mine,

Before body and soul are torn asunder

Kronos, take pity on this poor mortal,

Reveal the secrets of my future self

Shall I untimely slip though death's portal?

Or shall I reach the pinnicle of wealth?

Mans stay upon Earth is all too brief.

Grant me some knowledge of what is to come.

I ask you, O Kronos, for this relief.

Speak, speak, I command you, do not be dumb.

Then Kronos spoke. 'That is not to be known.

Time's secrets must be for the gods alone.'
