monoma patiently waited for you outside the school. he already informed you about it and by now, you're already on your way to the gates.
you were nervous.
but who wouldn't be? meeting with monoma after class is to die for.
"monoma!" you whisper-shouted at the blonde boy as you poke his shoulder.
monoma smiled and pushed himself off the wall. "y/n, you're here. let me walk you to the bus station."
your eyes widened and you were about to say no when he spoke again. "don't worry, my house is near the station anyway." he lied.
of course he won't tell you that. he wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to walk you to the bus station.
just the two of you.
"well, if it's okay for you then it's totally fine with me!" you grinned and the both of you walked together.
monoma would spark up conversations and so would you. the both of you taking turns on speaking to each other.
"it's no surprise that you were part of the recommendations." monoma said.
"oh please, that's just because my parents are pro-heroes, but my quirk is no special." you said as you never saw your quirk, illusion, as something so cool.
"it's special if you know how to control it. you really got me back there in the joint training last month." monoma said and you looked at him in surprise.

"yeah, but you won't fool me next time though." monoma said.
you chuckled. "as expected from you, monoma." monoma felt flustered.
it was indeed difficult for him to counter your compliments face-to-face. it would have been easy if it was through texts. but he can clearly see the sincerity in you as you said those, which makes it awkward for him.
the blue-eyed boy could only rub his nape and let out a nervous laugh. "you flatter me too much."
you chuckled and smiled.
then the both of you heard something and looked behind.
"mina?", "kendo?"
mina, kendo, tetsutetsu, uraraka, and kirishima looked like they were caught hiding a dead body.
mina was holding her phone. she just took a picture of you and monoma.
you glared at your classmates as monoma glared at his.
"LET'S MAKE A RUN FOR IT!"
the group laughed and ran away from you and monoma.
"i'm sorry-"
the two of you said at the same time. you look at each other's eyes and burst into laughter.
"thank you for walking me here, monoma." you said as the two of you arrived.
"no problem. say, what time do you usually arrive here when you come to school?" he asked.
you thought for a while. "before 7 in the morning. why?"
monoma shook his head. "nothing. you should get in now."
you nodded. "thanks again, monoma. see you tomorrow!"
monoma waves at your retrieving figure. "see you tomorrow."
