He Sat in a field of sorrows as blossoms bloomed from his wounds. "Why must it be this way?" He asked the sky. A soft rumble flowed through the air in response as spall droplets landed on his curled locks. "Why must you forsake me this way?" He wept, his tears mixing with the water that pitter pattered on his delicate skin. The only response to his plea's was the unforgiving elements rained down on him. He turned to stone as the relentless weather beat down on his frail body. There he sat for the rest of days, a statue to remind those who laid eyes on it of the ruthless nature of this world. Uncaring for its inhabitants no matter their own beauty or kindness.
