Apocalypse

The Survivor

The story starts off with a single survivor running from a horde of zombies, his only weapon, a dulling knife that can barely cut.
He runs towards a car and hides inside it, trying to be silent, the sounds of footsteps and groaning gets closer as the horde makes its way towards the car, a loud car horn makes all the zombies stop and turn towards the sound, then the car starts driving away, causing all the zombies to follow after it , you sign In relief until you hear something screech and  jump on top of the car, the creature screams more, any zombies In the area definitely heard the sound , so the survivor jumps out of the car and quickly sprints away, he hears the creature on the cars screeching get further and further away, "I'm lucky it lost interest" the survivor says while breathing rapidly, "I've got to get back to my base" the survivor takes a deep breath and starts walking towards the park while trying to avoid being seen by cannibals, zombies or psychotic fractions like the falling angels, they are known to kill any survivors they see, innocent or not, you were never a lucky guy, so of course 3 cars start driving in your direction,  3 people in one car with a mini gun attached to the front and back, and 2 in the one with the fortified windows and a metal snow/zombie plower, and 4 people in the car with chainsaws and another mini gun attached to the top, they had a symbol I've never seen before.

Their cars looked like they were built out of scrap pieces, how do they even work.

Survivors POV
These guys look dangerous, all those weapons, they must've been mechanics or builders before the apocalypse, skills like those are valuable in a society like this, curious, I follow the new fraction to try and figure out who the leader is and how powerful they are, I could follow them to their base and rob some of their stuff, it would be a gold mine, I might even be able to steal a car , it would be Risky, but worth it, I'm cut out of my thought by who I can assume to be the leader, giving orders, his fraction members are on look out while he gets out the car with an intimidating weapon

as I try to get closer, until a loud aggressive voice gives out an order, DON'T SHOOT HIM he yells at his group, they all go into defence formation, preparing the big machine guns on top of the cars, incase the leader gets attacked, another guy comes into view, he only has a baseball bat with nails and barbed wire, they talk for a while until the leader punches the guy, as he does that one of the group members in the car looks in my direction, so I move back a little and hide in better cover to avoid being seen, I would be in deep shit if I was caught, I see the leader kick the fuck out of the guy before slashing his throat open and slamming the weapon into the guys stomach, and then he ripped it out, I look on in horror as the guys entrails can be seen sticking out of his stomach as he bleeds out, lying on his back, the leader says something before getting into the car and driving away,once I knew they were far away enough to not see me, I went and looted his body, I stole his bat and a can of green beans, he Also had a phone in his pocket, "poor bastard" I mutter as I continue to walk towards my base with my dinner and a new weapon, I also have a phone, I'll look through it later.
(5 minutes later)
I walk into my base that's hidden in the trees and bushes in the park, I start a fire to keep warm and dig into the green beans I robbed from that guy, with the bat by my side just incase someone or something discovers my base
Who were those guys I saw, another psychotic fraction that goes around killing anyone they see, whoever they are, they are monsters for how they killed that guy, I will avenge him, I say as I look at the picture of his family that I stole while looting his body
"Poor bastard"
