Y/n quite liked this lady.

Despite her stoic face, she was actually very kind, picking up on things before y/n could even notice them.

She realized y/n was hungry before y/n's stomach even got the chance to growl.

She practically read y/n like a book but was still very considerate and respectful.

"So... what did you wanna talk with me about?" y/n asked around the dango she'd stuffed in her mouth.

Y/n and the pretty woman were sitting together, y/n enjoying the snacks that had been bought for her. She had a feeling this person was one of two things...

Respected or feared.

Probably both.

The nice lady selling dango seemed frightened of the blue eyed woman.

"...I need your assistance with something..." the woman murmured.

Y/n blinked, 'Sounds important.'

Her eyes brightened slightly, 'Oh! Oh! What if she needs me to kill someone for her? Or maybe steal something! If I can fight, I'm totally in!'

"My daughter. I need to buy a gift for her." the woman stated and y/n deadpanned.

"...dala?"

The woman glanced at y/n, "My younger brother and my sister's unborn child too."

"Wait, wait, wait, you're asking me to help you find gifts?" y/n demanded.

The woman nodded, "I am... I've been quite busy for the past year so I haven't gotten to spend much time with my daughter. My sister has been pregnant for the past eight months and I've only just found out about it."

She heaved a sigh as her stoic demeanor began to crack, y/n picking up on traces of guilt and misery, "My younger brother has just returned home and I wasn't there to greet him. It's... a lot."

"Wow, you must be a very busy person then..." y/n commented then beamed, "Don't worry! I'll help you out!"

The woman's calm demeanor returned once more, "What a relief... thank you Miss...?"

"Y/n!"

"Y/n... it's a pleasure to meet you y/n." The woman hummed, "You may call me Hanae."

"Let's start off with your daughter! What does she like?" y/n inquired.

Hanae looked thoughtful, "She's always been a bit of a bookworm so... books, I suppose? Her favorite is called A Legend of Sword. I know she'd like her copy to be signed by the author but, considering our current situation, it wouldn't be very easy."

"I can do it."

"Pardon?"

"I can do it!" y/n exclaimed.

Hanae blinked, "You can?"

Y/n smiled, "Hehe, you could say that the author and I are buddies."

'Time for payback, binch!' y/n thought deviously, 'Don't worry, Chongyun! The victims of Xingqiu shall have their revenge!'

"That smile is..." Hanae murmured.

"My smile is what?"

"Nothing." the woman replied as she pulled out a small book and wrote something down, "Next is my sister. Her and her husband have already thought of some names for the baby."
