Eli gets blueberries out of the fridge and starts the music on my phone. He gets up on the barstool to help me with the ingredients. We pull away so I can cook the pancakes while he helps Eli clean himself up, and cleans up the flour mess on the counter. After the pancakes are done, we sit down to eat breakfast, talking, joking and laughing as if we had been doing this together our whole lives.

After breakfast we sit down in the living room. Chris offers to entertain Eli so I can get some time to myself. Eli excitedly gets up to get some board games for them to play.

I kiss them both saying a soft thank you to Chris. I start a load of laundry before heading back to my bathroom and starting up the bath water. Once it's ready I sink into the warm water enjoying the peace and small break my amazing boyfriend was giving me.

Chris's POV

I'm sitting in the living room playing a second board game with Eli after dominated me at CandyLand.

"Did you have a sleepover with mama Chris?" I choke on air and start coughing at his question.

"Um, yeah little man. It was late, so we decided I should stay. I hope you don't mind." Not a lie, but obviously not the whole truth.

"That's good. I liked having you here this morning." His greens eyes shined with his bright smile.

"I liked it too. I really love your mom and you." He came up to me and hugged me.

"Thank you for making her happy." I tried not to tear up and just hugged him a little tighter.

After Eli finished beating me at yet another board game, we decided to put on a movie and sat on the couch to watch it. Frankie came in a little after the movie started and joined us smiling before she kissed me.

"Thank you Chris. I was able to get a lot done." She leaned her head against my shoulder and I kissed the top of it.

"Any time doll."

After the movie was done, I realized I needed to get going so I could get ready for my shift at the fire house. I said bye to Eli before grabbing my things.

Frankie walked me to the door, where I pulled her into my arms. "Thank you for this weekend Chris."

I smiled down at her. "I enjoyed spending time with you two. Especially our alone time." I say seductively. "It'll make my 48 hour shift a lot easier."

She gasped at my words and the pouted a little looking at me through her eyelashes. I ran my thumb over bottom lip before leaning down to kiss her passionately.

"I know it'll be a few days until we can see each other, but I have another free weekend, maybe we could spend it together again." She mischievously smiled at me.

"Maybe." I chuckle at her answer.

"I love you Frankie." I lean down and kiss her again.

"I love you too Chris." She hugged me tight.

When she releases me I give her another kiss before heading to my car. I smile all the way home and to work, thinking I could get used to lazy Sundays with Frankie and Eli.
