After washing myself off of today's workout I come out to see Dani staring off into the distance. She's yet to shower our day off of her, not that she'd had much focus during our training. Mal had wiped the floor with her ass several times. Then she'd just let Dani go off and train on her own before taking on Luke.

The way those two fought you would think they actually had it out for one another, like they genuinely wanted to hurt one another. It was the strangest thing to watch the two of them because they were like a mirror image of one another. They moved in time with one another, making violence and viciousness turn into a beautiful dance. In the end, they'd ended up on the mat, Mal topping Luke before they started going at it, right then and there. If it wasn't for Denver I actually think the two of them would've fucked right there and not cared that we were in the room.

"Hey, you should take a shower." She doesn't look at me, still lost in whatever thoughts she's lost in. It's most likely Torey-related. After seeing him making out with those two women when the elevator doors had opened, walking right past us without a second glance, she'd been in her head. "Dani?" Still nothing. I go and sit next to her which finally gets her attention. "Did you hear me?"

"No, sorry. I was uhm, lost in thought." Thoughts of Torey.

I let out a hearty sigh. Being in love with a woman who is in love with someone else as well as me is extremely frustrating. Yes, the role-play lately has been next-level fucking hot but the emotional aspect of our relationship has been strained since Torey has came back into the picture.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, letting me know someone texted me. I pull it out and see Torey's name on the screen. I open up the text. 'Come to my room. We need to talk terms and renegotiation.' I glance at Dani who isn't looking at me anymore but off in the distance again.

"Torey just text me."

"Oh?" She's still not looking at me.

"He wants me to go to his room to talk terms." She just nods without a word and something about it hurts my heart. I hate seeing her like this. When I first met her she was like this; a void, distant. "Dani, what's going on with you?" I grab her knee and give it a light squeeze. "You've checked out, babe. I don't like it."

"It's my fault."

My brow furrows in question with, "what are you talking about? What is your fault?"

"Why Torey is acting the way he is. It's my fault." She wrings her hands out, looking down at them as she does. "It's why he brought home two women too. He was trying to rub it in my face about having a threesome. Like 'oh look, you want a threesome with two guys well i'll have one with two girls'." The last bit was said in a mock-Torey tone.

"Other people's response to a situation is not your responsibility. He saw something and then you went to apologize. In hindsight it was probably a really bad idea to do what we did with him actually here." I gesture to the room we're in. "But there's no changing what's already happened, what he heard and saw. Yeah, maybe he's doing out of resentment but that's on him. For all intents and purposes Torey is a single man. The two of you may have had sex but you're not in a committed relationship with him."

"I know but we have a kid together."

"Right, but you gave him up for adoption. He may be in the picture again now, the two of you may have to co-parent together, but that doesn't mean you'll always belong to him." Her watery grey-blue eyes hold mine and the look there tells me a part of her always will. "He may fuck good but he's not good for you, Dani."

"I know." She wipes the tears away that had escaped. "I'm so stupid. I don't even know why I'm crying. I'm so fucking emotional lately." She stands up abruptly which has me leaning back slightly. "I'm going to shower. You head over and talk to Torey."
