Chapter 24: Stolen Moments

"No. No way. We are not going to Felucia. Nuh uh. Way too... eww." Aayla and Bly sat on Bly's bunk researching remote planets on a data pad.

"Okay. What about Wayland?" Aayla asked.

"Nope. It's a rain forest. Too much like Kamino."

"What about... Bakura?"

"Never heard of it. What's it like?"

"It says mountains, valleys, plains, and seas. It doesn't rain too often."

"Where is it?"

"That may be a problem. The edge of wild space."

"That's pretty far."

"Really far. Would you want to be that far away from the rest of the galaxy?" Aayla asked, concerned.

"I wouldn't want to be that far from the boys."

"Okay, let's keep looking. How about-"

"Commander Bly. Come in." Bly's wrist comm beeped.

Bly rolled his eyes and sighed, reluctantly answering his comm. "Commander Bly here."

"We have a slight... situation in the mess hall."

"I'll be right there." The comm chanel closed. "I gotta go."

"Be back soon. I'll keep looking."

Bly quickly kissed Aayla before walking towards the door. "Love you."

"Love you too." Aayla smiled and kept researching for planets.

"What'd you find?" Bly walked into his quarters to find Aayla still researching thoroughly on the data pad.

"A few nice planets. What happened in the mess hall?"

"Reno."

"I should have guessed."

"Sooooo, what did you find?" Bly sat next to Aayla and pulled her into his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist and using her head as a pillow.

"As of right now, my favorite option is Sicemon. It's kind of like Lothal, with plains and some mountains. Not a lot of rain; you're welcome. There's a small town on the warmer side of the planet that looks nice."

"Any pictures of the sunrise?"

"Yes, and it looks amazing." Aayla smiled.

"Then it's settled. That's where we'll go."

"Really? You've never seen any pictures."

"I trust you."

"I would sure hope so." Aayla laughed.

"We should ask Reno and Sid to come too."

"Sid would do great there, but Reno? In a small town?"

"Might be just what he wants and he doesn't know it."

"Maybe. We couldn't break up the battalion anyways."

"Battalion? There's only four of us." Bly laughed.

"I bet, that between Reno's insane ideas, my Jedi skills, Sid's opinions, and you're fighting, we could win the war."

"Hasn't worked yet."

"Touché."
