Thanit's pov:

I drove as fast as I could to the nearest hospital.

My heart was pounding in my chest.

I kept glancing through the rearview mirror at Mew who had tears streaming down his face at this point and was talking to Pavel to keep him distracted so he wouldn't fall asleep.

Please god... Please let me make it on time... I can't lose him...

I gripped the steering wheel tightly as I increased the speed.

I don't care whether I'm going over the speed limit or not.

I need to get him to the hospital.

I pulled up in front of the ER 3 long minutes later.

I shot out of the car and opened the backdoor.

I took Pavel into my arms and rushed inside with Mew following close behind.

"HELP! I NEED HELP!" I shouted.

Multiple nurses and a doctor rushed to us with s gurney.

I put him down on it on his side.

"It's very deep and has hit a vital spot. He needs immediate surgery. Let's go!" The doctor said examining the stab wound.

My anxiety skyrocketed at that.

They rushed him inside as we waited in front of the ER.

I looked to my side when I felt a tug on my sleeve.

Mew was looking at the now-closed doors with tears streaming down his face.

I quickly pulled him into my arms.

"He's going to be ok. He's strong. He won't leave us this soon." I said softly.

He whimpered and clutched onto my shirt tightly.

More than assuring him, I was trying to assure myself.

I might not have much medical knowledge, but having something like a huge kitchen knife hit a vital spot is really bad.

I tightened my arms around him and clenched my eyes shut.

Please... Please don't take him away... Please...

"... What?! You're pregnant?!" I couldn't help but yell in surprise.

Mew bit his lips and nodded.

"That's why I went to the hospital earlier... I was having morning sickness..."

My jaw hung low.

Pavel did warn that he could still get pregnant even while on birth control.

But I didn't think it would happen this soon.

And for this to happen to Pavel on the same day...

Dammit!

I took a deep breath and sat down beside him.

I pulled him close.

He turned and hugged me tightly.

"He's going to be ok right?"

"I hope so..." I muttered staring at the doors.

Fresh tears started streaming down his face.

I tightened my arms around him. "He's a strong guy. He won't die this easily. Let's not lose hope ok?"

He nodded against my shoulder.
