It was dark already but williams book shop is on the safest part of town
I quitly walked home loving the sound of the rustling trees the same bmw I've been seeing around drove right past me
It sometimes feels like it's following me but it a really common model so maybe I'm just paranoid

I got in locked the door and placed my keys in a bowl
I plugged my phone in and set an alarm for midnight
I plopped on my couch took my shoes and scrolled through netflix
After I found something to watch I grabbed a shitload of snacks change into leggings and a hoddie
I watched umbrella academy for what seemed like hours till I saw a something move from my kitchen window
I slowly walked to my kitchen grabbed a knife and looked through the window
I saw someone standing by my kitchen door trying to open it
I've watched enough horror movies to know this is how people die and I don't think it's my time yet
I haven't even done everything my bucket list and I'm way too hot to die young
I ran towards the living room grabbed my phone and usain bolted to my room
I locked the door and pushed my bed towards it and put as much as i could to act as a barrier
I ran to the bathroom locked the door and sat in the corner in a fetus position
Luckily my battery was on sixty percent I quickly dialed 911 and waited for someone to pickup
I heard the familiar squeaky sound of my back door opening and multiple heavy footsteps
It wasn't just one guy it was a whole gang
Nobody picked up so I tried again
What the hell, it's a fucking emergency service why wasn't anyone picking up
