Reincarnated as a Fox with a slime friend

Is that a shark?

A couple of weeks have already passed after I first came to this world and I needed to say that everyone was soo nice. Me and Rimuru were not only brothers in name but also his best friend. Never in my life did I have a friend such like him. It was weird how the moment he gave me a name I felt a lot more connected to him.

Ranga: Izu!

Me: Ranga!

In all these weeks Rimuru let Ranga stay with me since I was an animal and he was too. A wolf and a fox weird combination but we liked sticking together. Fun fact I could easily keep up with the wolf when he was running thanks to OfA.

Ranga: Rimuru-sama allowed me to show you the lake nearby.

Me: Really?! I thought it was a little bit far away.

Ranga: It is but with our speed we will be able to be there in 30 minutes.

Me: Then let's go!

Ranga: ARRROOOOOOO!!!!!!

He began howling out of nowhere and both of us were inside of Rimuru's and mine small home too. We both shared a hose and I loved laying on the ground outside and just think about everything. I tried walking around town a couple of times but the people were always looking weird at me so I stopped doing that and started jumping from roof to roof observing them instead.

Today however I wanted to go to the forest and Rimuru didn't let me go on my own saying it was too dangerous for me to be by myself. I still didn't quite get why he said that to me. We both knew that the society I grew up in was a lot more dangerous than his and not only that but I was kinda acknowledged by everyone else as a monster so that must mean something at least or so I hoped. Not only that but I was confident in my skills since I had still OfA with me.

Ranga: Let's go!

Me: Kay. Wait! I need to tell Shuna that we are leaving!

Ranga: Okay. I'll be waiting in front of the house.

Just like that the huge wolf just jumped into a shadow and I still found it very interesting to see how Shadow Transportation worked. It looked soo awesome and not only that but I somehow did want to be able to travel like that too. It did scare me a little bit to jump into nothing just blackness but then again, the method of traveling was pretty handy if I ever needed it.

Once he was gone I stood up and began stretching on the position I was on. After that I began run inside with both of my tails wagging.

Me: Shuna!

I wonder where she is?

Flowers...

She must be arranging the flowers again.

I am so sorry that she needs to look after me but I am so grateful too!

I should try and get her some nice flowers back or some wild fruits.

I wonder if she would be even happy receiving something like this from me?

Since Rimuru was very busy and I didn't want to get him in trouble I mostly stayed at home. However, after a while I felt very lonely all alone on the Japanese room. That was why he assigned Shuna to me since he thought she would be the best for it and to tell you the truth she was. I loved the time when she patted me or combed through my fur. She was always taking such a good care of me. Though at first, I was really shy but I was a Kitsune, a fox, so being shy like that didn't quite fit and so I quickly adapted to my new form.
