Reincarnated as a Fox with a slime friend

I heard Sharks taste good!

A couple of days past and it was the day of the battle. I promised I wouldn't fight until it was absolutely necessary and I would only take over when Rimuru had some issues. Though me and the rest of the towns people were sure that he could make it or Milim.

Ever since Milim came, I had great fun with her. Our relationship also evolved from being friends to sworn brother and sister. She kinda took a liking to me more than Rimuru and I loved spending time with her. She reminded me of the people in class 1A that I left behind. It was weird but I didn't miss my old life at all. Everyone here was so nice to me that I accepted them as family. I felt more at ease here than my entire life back in Japan.

Rimuru: Izu, you're spacing out.

Me: Ah sorry.

Rimuru: What's on your mind?

Rimuru: Where did that came from?

Me: I guess I am just looking back at life.

Me: I know. I am just grateful and I'll fight to protect everyone I hold dear.

Rimuru let his wings out and began flying up into the sky while I began running and jumping from roof to roof. We had the Pegasus knights with us and we began running towards the threat. It didn't take us long to get there. I was on the ground while everyone was up in the sky. It wasn't a question of getting up since there were all these little sharks around. Moreover, I wanted to give them space to fight first.

I know that Rimuru is strong but this feels different.

The power this shark has is far greater than his!

Why could I sense it from afar though...

No one could but I felt it...

Why do I even know that Rimuru is weaker? He is strong.... ahhh this is irritating!

Now let's analyze the fight!

The fight was a one sided one as all of Rimuru's attack didn't damage the creature and at some point, I had enough seeing Rimuru try and decided to help. Just from looking at the creature I knew that it didn't have any visible weakness beside its eye and if that seemed not to be a weak point at all.

I quickly began jumping from tree branch to tree branch until I used OfA enough to get close to a small shark and began jumping from one to another until I knew I was close to the real thing.

Me: GRRRRRR

I began growling and my whole body was now surrounded with green and blue lighting and the moment I was up in the air ready to attack, I felt something change in me and all of the sudden, I saw everything black and white besides my target. I felt very bloodthirsty and it wasn't for long that the lighting around me started to form an even larger fox around me like a protective armor and I bite into the shark's tail.

Thanks to the new lighting body which kinda was also a part of me, I ripped off its tail before landing on the ground. Once again, I personally was up in the air and only surrounded with the greenish blue lighting around me and that huge fox appearance had the shark's tail in its mouth. I felt it. The power coming from it.
