It's a short one this month but I still enjoyed it a lot so let's begin!

To start off Vanitas is in rough shape, he's barely holding it together and I'm not entirely sure if he's conscious? We get one panel where his eye is a little open so he may still be somehwhat aware of what's happening or he may not. After his fight with Noé it makes sense that he's like this considering how much he was thrown around. It seems like the minute he let himself rest he couldn't keep going any longer.

Misha makes his intentions clear; he wanted his family back. Of course he's failed at this point because he didn't anticipate just how attached Vanitas is to Noé. Noé himself seems horrified/angry that he was made to attack Vanitas for such a reason and I'm interested to see how that plays out. Personally I'm not sure how to feel about Misha. He's an awful, petulant little kid who's consistently acting borderline evil but he's also got a super fucked up backstory and I understand why he'd want his family back. I also feel like whoever saved him is probably manipulating him so there's that too. Still, I have trouble feeling bad for him right now and I feel as though I'd be perfectly content to watch another character punch his lights out even if he is a kid.

Domi's an interesting case this chapter. I'm glad she accepted the more negative part of herself and broke free of Misha's intentions but her mindset still isn't what I'd call healthy. It would be unrealistic to resolve all her issues so soon though and I think it says a lot about her that her priority is still protecting Noé. I don't want her to hate herself but I'm glad she's acknowledged that she does and I hope to see her move forward in the future and care about herself for her own sake.
