Was the sky always this beautiful,
were the stars always this bright,
never knew a thought could make me this happy,
in my dull life, u became the light.
The warm breeze reminds of you,
the twinkling moments we shared,
a secret I could never spill,
the shadow of u that I always stared.
Like a star, u became brighter
when the moonlight started to fade.
Found magic in the colours of you,
to be by ur side was a promise I made.
To me u were always more than a friend,
it was a secret only I knew.
This friendship means a lot more,
as ur best friend, I'll always be there for you.
