The first days they saw each other again were awkward.
After the party they all had a week off since it was Christmas so Seungmin took his time to sort his thoughts about his boss and what had happened at the party.
Hyunjin was funny, kind and very flirty so he obviously had some sort of interest in him.
He wouldn't risk sleeping with his employee as the CEO if it didn't mean anything to him, it was just too dangerous.
And he made Seungmin happy.
It's been a long time since he felt so carefree and could actually give his heart to someone without feeling unsure and scared.
He was falling in love.
And Hyunjin?
Hyunjin already knew that he liked his secretary a lot, the actual reason he hired Seungmin was because he found him cute.
And learning about the younger's other sides made him excited, there was still so much he wanted to learn about him after he had surprised him in so many ways already.
When Seungmin entered the office the morning two days after new years eve, Hyunjin was already there scribbling something down furiously on a piece of paper.
"Jinnie?"
"What?!"
"I'm sorry, I-"
"My parents organized a business trip to Japan! But I don't even want to go there all alone!"
The now brunette walked over to his boss and took the older's hands in his, taking the pen out of Hyunjin's balled fist.
"Look at me."
Seungmin squeezed his hands gently when the ravenette looked up at him.
"Deep breath Jinnie, it's just a business trip. Japan is beautiful and you don't have to go all alone if you don't want to."
"You're right, you're going to come with me."
"W-wha-?"
"That's right pup, we two are going to Japan in three weeks for five days."
Although Hyunjin said that very confidently, his eyes told something different.
He looked at Seungmin with big pleading eyes like a child hoping for a cookie from their mommy.
"Under one condition."
"Tell me about it."
We're going to stay the weekend too and we're going to have a good time together.
I want to show you some things in Japan."
Hyunjin smirked when Seungmin blushed a bit and stood up to kiss the brunette's cheek quickly.
"Okay, deal."
And the ravenette's heart skipped a beat when the younger gifted him a bright smile and a soft peck on the nose.
"And now what's the matter with this piece of paper? Is it really that difficult or were you just being dramatic?"
You can imagine Hyunjin's expression when Seungmin sat down on his lap and began to study the sheet in front of him.
The older just sighed and rested his head on the brunette's shoulder as he wrapped his arms around the small waist.
While Seungmin was doing his boss's work, he felt the head on his shoulder getting heavier.
"Are you sleepy, pretty boy?"
"Hm."
Hyunjin nuzzled his face in the soft fabric of the brunette's sweater and inhaled the scent he started to love so much.
He was sleepy, he didn't sleep very well the past nights and the warmth radiating from the younger lulled him to sleep in no time.
Seungmin lifted his hand to tuck a loose black hair strand behind the older's ear and smiled at the pout on Hyunjin's sleeping face.
With a last peck on the other's cheek he diverted his attention back to the sheet of paper and began his work.
There were still many things to do, they were going to Japan in three weeks after all.
