We look up at our destiny
to live among the stars
foggy and hazy skies betray
the planets and moons afar
the galaxies eons and eons away
the moon that's nearby, just a few days
and the millions of little glass shards in the sky
hung on a dark curtain or behind a white veil
when you're sitting at home with no window in sight
can you tell from the sound and the smell of the night
if the stars are in hiding, or revealing their light?
do you know if the clouds encompass the moon?
do tell me, for perhaps I will reach the stars soon
and I wish to be safe, not to get lost on the way
so tell me the night will be bright as the day
tell me if I will be able to see
all the stars in the sky, as they always see me?
