Making a wish isn't hard;

it's more difficult to make the wish

your reality.

Yang Jeongin. The name almost as beautiful as his smile.

Damn. His smile.

The way his eyes seem to disappear when he's flustered.

How he carefully brushes his hand through her hair, like he's scared he'll accidentally hurt her.

He holds her hand tightly, as if scared she'll disappear if he lets go.

He hides his face in his hands whenever he feels embarrassed.

He listens to classical music to fall asleep and when he takes walks around their park.

She doesn't know her favorite thing about him. There's too many to list. All she knows is life seems so much brighter with him in it.

And that's all she can ask for. After all, that was her wish.

⁂⁂⁂⁂⁂

She looks up at the clear blue sky, not a single cloud to be found. Jeongin sits next to her, their hands slightly touching.

Taking a deep breath, she closes her eyes and tilts her head back and lets the cool breeze wash over her face. A smile appears on her face after a few seconds.

"Thank you," she whispers into the wind. "Thank you for giving me a reason to love life again."
