"Some times I wonder about Jaden you know his real parents" she said

"Why though" I asked taking a sip of my drink and bit of my food

"Why would they give away such a nice little kid"

If only she knew the truth I thought

"Probably it's because they couldn't take care of their child"

"So I would take care of my child no matter what.Why the heck would they give their kid away?that's just wicked and the worst part they don't even know if there child is safe"

What she said got me thinking I should have tried with Jaden to see how it would have went I never should have given him to Linda I should have tried I'm 100% sure it would be better than how it turned out

Snapping out of thought when I hear Mia calling my name

"Kayla are you okay?" She asked looking at me concerned

Taking a sip of my drink I replied to her

"Yeah I'm just tried that's all"

"Okay let's go home then" she said looking at me with unconvinced look

Placing my shopping bag on my bed turning to walk out of my room and heading into the kitchen to see Mia with her phone in her hand smiling like she won a million dollars

"Hey what got you smiling so much?" I asked wanting to know

"Oh uhmm it-its my boyfriend" she said sounding nervous

Seeing her nervous like that I made me strike interested taking a seat the next to her I turned to her and said

"Who is the guy that made you so nervous when you talk about to him?" I asked with my hand on my jaw

Turning her head towards me blushing

"Uhm he's my boyfriend"

"How long ?"

"A couple months now we going to my parents house and your going to meet him soon"

"When?" I asked

"How about Saturday at this new club I heard about?"

"Alright I haven't been to a club in like forever. What's the name any ways?" I asked curious

" I Know right hmm it's names dark shades"

"Cool I'm going to go order a piz-" I got cut off my her saying

"I already got it with extra cheese just like you like it. it will be here any minute now."She said as I was gonna open my mouth the door bell rang.

"I'm going get the pizza Kay set the table"

"How do you even it's the pizza guy?" I asked by with my eyebrow rised

Stopping in her track and giving me I know you ain't just asked me that stupid question look

"Who else could it be?"

"I don't know"

"Nobody doesn't even knock at our door so it must be the pizza guy"

Turning back around to answer the door meanwhile I get the plates minutes later she comes back with the pizza she was right.Placing the pizza on the table after that we both started to dig into the pizza

There was a long silent until mia decided to break it

"Kay"

"Yeah?"

"Wanna watch a movie?"

"Yeah what?"

"Hmm romant-"

"Mia don't even finish that horror it is"

Rolling her eyes at me and asked me what movie it going to be

"Conjuring"  I said smiling

"Fine but if it's scary I'm sleeping in your bed tonight"

"Okay deal"

Getting up along with the rest of my pizza setting my ass down on the couch ready to watch movie with Mia who looks scared as hell

"Girl the movie ain't even start yet"

"So but I'm scared"

Rolling my eyes at her before starting the movie

Finally the movie is over I have to watch it a next time because of Mia she kept screaming off her head even if it ain't the scary part or jumping on me and covering my eyes.Now I'm in my bed ready to take a nap

Slowing closing my eyes ready for dream land not even thirty minutes good yet I felt someone shaking me

"Kay Kay wake up"

Groaning out of annoyance for this person trying to wake me

"What I have work tomorrow" I said in my sleepy voice and then going back to sleep seconds after

"Kay I'm scared I told you  I'm going to sleep in your bed tonight" hearing that instantly know it Mia kissing my teeth after that I sit up straight in my bed turning to her

"Your not a baby go sleep in your bed"

"No please"

"Fine hop in"

After her joining me in bed I instantly started to sleep with one thought on my mind

I'm never going watch a horror movie with Mia again
