Chapter 6: Enough Is Enough

Azeria used the key often to visit this other world,
she called it "The Clouded Skies" for lack of a better name.

She even named the fox,
she named it "kindness".

The fox liked to play games,
from a distance, of course.

Azeria would ask the fox math problems,
and the fox would reply by writing the answer in the clouds.

Azeria felt very safe with the fox,
she told it all her problems,
and hung out with it whenever she had time.

One time the fox asked her a question,
this was the only question the fox would ever ask.

The fox wrote in the clouds
"Who do you believe in?"

Azeria responded with a poem,
not a planned poem,
it just sort of magically formed on her tounge.

"the world moves so slow,
the birds cannot sing,
and the trees cannot grow.
my golden halo ring,
forever with you resides,
i have chosen sides.
i will live for you,
my beautiful fox in blue."

When she finished,
the fox walked over to her,
and touched it's nose to Azeria's.

And the fox seemed to infuse into her,
and as it did,
a searing pain tore through the back of her right hand.

Azeria blacked out,
and when she awoke,
she was back in her room,
and the key was gone.

All that remained was a blue mark on her right hand,
in the shape of a fox.
