To, my long lost love,
It's been almost a year since your death did us part. And I, for one, haven't moved on. I don't think I'll ever. So I'm starting this book to let out my emotions whenever I feel overwhelmed with grief. My doctor said that it may also help me rekindle my interest in poetry, so I've decided it's for the best.
I hope you're happy wherever you are. I'll try my best to live my life the way we always imagined and, if there is anything close to an afterlife out there, I'll see you again.
I love you. And I'll love you, even through death.
