He's Not that Bad

Hey everyone I'm finally back, the reason I haven't been updating is because these past few months have been very stressful and I've been depressed due to the loss of a few relatives. But I'm back and I think I'm ready to start updating regularly.

TW: Sexual Assault (nothing to drastic)

It has been a few months since the incident with my mom, I'm slowly getting back pieces of  my memory. I am currently hanging out with the team at the beach, Wally, Dick, Connor and Garfield are in the water playing chicken fight, Wonder girl, Alana, Jamie, Tim and Barbra are racing on the sand while M'gann, Artemis and I are laying on the sand

"Ahh this is nice" M'gann said smiling

"Yeah it's been a while since I've been this relaxed" Artemis said snuggling closer to me. My phone then pinged indicating that I got a text message as I picked it up I saw Roy's name on the screen, I smiled as I read the text

ROY❤️:

Him: Hey (n/n) wassup

You: hi nothing much just hanging with my friends

Him: ok.. Hey are you busy tomorrow?

You: Uh no why?

Him: Well I was wondering if you would want to go out with me tomorrow, you know as friends

You: yeah sure

Him: great we'll talk more about it later

After I read the message my smile got even bigger

"Aye girl who got you smiling like that?" Artemis said trying to peek at my phone

"It's Roy, he just asked me to go out with him tomorrow" I said smiling, M'gann and Artemis gave each other a look

"Roy?" M'gann asked confused

"Yeah...what's the problem?" I asked raising my brow

"It's nothing-" Artemis said

"But what about Dick?" M'gann cut Artemis off

"Guys I know we use to date in the past, but I have no memory of that time" I said, I was so tired with hearing about Dick and I

"She is right, don't you think it's time he tried moving on" Artemis asked directing the question at M'gann

"But I really hate the idea of her dating Roy" M'gann groaned

"Me too but we can't hold her back from what she wants" Artemis said. Before M'gann could reply Connor shouted for us to join them in the water.

~time skip~

When the sun started setting Alana, Tim, Dick and I headed back to the Manor. Upon arrival Alfred greeted us at the door (Quick Question...do you guys think I should include Damien in this story)

''Ah you all are finally home, Mr. Bruce has been worried although he wouldn't admit it, it was quiet obvious''  I giggled at Alfred's words 

''It's not like him to worry'' Tim said, we walked up the stairs of the manor. As I opened the door to my room Dick called out to me 

''uh..Hey (y/) can we talk'' he said rubbing the back of his neck

''About?'' I replied hoping it wouldn't be about us. I've been trying my best to avoid him for as long as I can remember, He shouldn't  be here. He had been advised by Wally to go back to Bludhaven in hopes of making things better for me but he insisted on staying so he can 'Protect me' I was flattered at first but after a while of always seeing his face it became pretty annoying

''You know what it's about'' he looked deep into my eyes 

''Look Grayson we've talked about this, you should try to move on. There are plenty of girls out there, like Zatanna or Barba'' I said annoyed 

''But how can I move on from the girl I love, do you know how hard I tried to find you or how many sleepless nights i've had to deal with because you weren't here'' He said coming closer to me 

''Are you trying to guilt trip me?'' I asked walking backwards causing me to enter my room, Dick continued walking forward until he was also inside, he then slammed my door shut

''What are you doing'' I asked nervously, instead of answering he grabbed my shoulders, spinned us around and slammed by back against the door. I winced at the impact, then he slammed his lips against mines, my eyes widened in shock and I tried to push him away but he used one of his hands to hold both of mines above my head and the other wrapped around my neck. Tears started streaming down my cheeks as I kicked trying to get him to stop, after a while he pulled away and started trailing kissing down my neck to my collarbone 

''P-please stop'' I whimpered and sniffled 

''Please your hurting me, Dick stop'' I whispered in a hoarsely, he pulled back looked into my eyes ass I cried even harder. He widened his eyes 

''I'm sorry I don't know what came over me'' He said letting go of me and stepping back 

'' Just get out'' I said looking at anywhere but him, after he went out he whispered a soft 'sorry' before he closed the door. I sank to the floor crying my heart out 

*FLASHBACK* 

I was walking back home from a night out, it was quite late and I was over the moon because I didn't have to do patrolling tonight. I walked the dimly lit streets humming a tune when I heard footsteps behind me, I looked back from the corner of my eye and saw someone following me. I started walking faster, trying  to lose the person following me by crossing through an alleyway. I looked back to see if the person was still following me then I bumped into something huge and firm, I slowly looked up to see a muscled man standing in front of me. He gave me a huge grin 

''Hello pretty lady'' he said trailing his hands on the small of my back, I shuddered at the feeling and stepped back only for my back to hit the dirty alley wall

''There's nowhere for you to run'' he said trapping me between his hands. I could've beaten the man right there and then, but for an odd reason my body refused to move. The guy then brought his hand up to my face lightly grazing my lips then my cheeks 

''Stay still so we can have some fun yeah'' he said again. I wanted to scream but the only  noises that passed my lips were whimpers and tears glossed my eyes then rolled down my peachy red cheeks

''And just what do you think your doing to MY woman'' we heard an all to familiar voice say from behind us when I looked up I saw my loving boyfriend in his hero costume

''Nightwing'' I whispered in relief 

''Don't worry babe i'm gonna show this guy what happens when someone lays their finger on my woman''

Timeskip to after he beat the guy (cuz i'm lazy and bad at writing fight scenes)

Nightwing scoffed at the man who layed unconscious on the ground, then he looked up at me and opened his hands for me giving me a soft smile. I ran over to him and wrapped my hands around his torso sobbing into his chest

''Hey shh.. it's okay, i'm here'' he said rubbing my hair, I looked up at him, he wiped my tears away and smiled at me

****END OF FLASHBACK****

I took a deep breath after seeing my flashback, I dried my tear stained cheeks and stood up. I sat on my bed and thought to myself  'Maybe...just maybe he isn't that bad'

Just then my phone started ringing, i picked it up and checked the caller ID 

Roy...

*****Ngl this chapter was really short. I haven't been writing that much but i wanted to let you guys know that I am indeed alive, and more chapters are on the way*****
