kimchi pancakes

9am

today you were visiting jaehyun family's home where his parents live in

his mom offered to teach you how to make kimchi today and you both woke up early in order to drive to his parents' far home

you both bought groceries in the morning and went to the 2 hour away house

you both finally reach the fresh air filled town, and you got out the car taking in a deep breath

you went to the trunk and grabbed the stuff

" i'll grab it, don't worry " jaehyun shuts the driver seat door and hurried over to you

" i can take some, it's too many " you tell him

" nonono " he shook his head

he grabbed the groceries away from you and you held onto his arm

you both make it infront of the home and you knocked

you looked up at him and he leans down to give you a kiss to last for the day

the door swung open and a warm smile appeared

" hii " you smiled

jaehyun's mom gives you a big hug and greeted you warmly

" mom what about me ? " jaehyun asks as he placed down heavy bags of groceries

" yes hi put them in the kitchen " she smiled

jaehyun sighed and picked up the groceries again

he placed them in the kitchen and sees you and his mom communicating

" dad " jaehyun went to find his father

his father was sitting on his rocking chair by the balcony, drinking coffee and inhaling morning air

" i thought the doctor said less caffeine " jaehyun asks

" he said less not none.. and i am drinking less " his dad smiles

jaehyun smiled and sat down beside him

jaehyun went back into the house and saw you chopping something

you had your hair tied up, and you were wearing a kitchen apron

your eyes were so focused and you had tiny beads of sweat by your hairline

he went up to you and looked around the house

" hii " you smiled at him

he kept looking around just to check if the coast was clear before kissing you

" you look like my wife " he smiles and held your hand, fidgeting with the diamond ring on your finger

" your mom told me a lot about your cuteness when you were a baby " you smiled

" my dad was teaching me how to impress you " he gets closer to your lips

" how " you ask

he smiled and pulled your waist close

" hey! "

you both gasped and saw his angry mother

" get away! she's learning " jaehyun's mom dragged him out of the kitchen

he frowned at you and you pouted back

you were sat on the ground with plastic gloves which was covered in kimchi stuffing

you had a tired back and wanted to rest

" almost donee " she cooed

you looked at her and she was so energetic..?

" are you not tired mom? " you ask curiously

" noo, i make kimchi every week. it's so fun! " she smiled

you smiled at how happy and healthy she looked

she stood up and went away to grab more ingredients

jaehyun snuck up to you and sat behind you

you leaned on his back and stretched

you both exchanged kisses and he told you stuff about what his dad taught him

you sat up and continued to stuff the kimchi

he used his hands to help you massage your back

" then he was telling me how to treat your pregnancy cravings " he says

" but i'm not pregant " you say

" you could be, we're married " he says

you smiled at him and laughed it off

" y/n you can go rest now, we did everything already " jaehyun's mom says

" oh, i'll help wash the tubs " you stood up

" no let jaehyun do it, you need rest " she says

you took off the gloves and jaehyun went o wash the things for his mother

you laid your back on the couch and his mom sat beside you

" when you two are at home he could do chores too okay? remember that " she tells you

you grinned and nodded

you were eating kimchi pancakes with him and his family

the kimchi you made tasted really good and you were proud of yourself

jaehyun kept patting your hair, it was like a small action to say he was proud too

" it tastes really good y/n " his father says

you smiled at him and gave him a few pieces more
