One morning Gatejumper was on her first solo mission that her father let her go for the first time in forever "Personal journal, I have driven 2,000 miles from the Scrapyard and my pistols are positively tingling. Successful completing this mission to prove to anyone even my own father can do this some I'll be the greatest leader of the Autobots like my grandfather Gatejumper Prime!" Gatejumper said to her said to herself as she drove down a round in the country. "Gatejumper, come in" Fixit commed in causing Gatejumper to lose her train of thought "Status report, please" "It hasn't changed since you asked me 12 minutes ago, uncle Fixit. Is it really necessary to?" She asked annoyed "Yes" Fixit said cutting her off. "When your father agreed after weeks of begging and pleading for a solo outing, you promised him and your mother to check in every 10 minutes" he further explained "Your are investigating a Decepticon single" Fixit said before looking around him as Denny dropped somewhere. "Possible single uncle Fixit" Gatejumper said annoyed "If it's real, I'll call for backup like I promise 37 times I left" she said before looking out her rearview mirror and saw the someone was following her she told Fixit she will call back and drove off road. She drove up a mountain road and reached the top she transformed and once the vehicle stopped, she jumped down in front of it. "You" Gatejumper said in anger as she stares at her father "This isn't how it's looks, sweetie" Bumblebee said before transforming with a nervous chuckling "I just forgot to give you something before you left. It's my good luck rock" he picked up a random "Took it on my very first mission when I was your age. Must of drop it, right? Here" he held it out to her with and awkward smile. Gatejumper looked anger and unhappy "Dad, this is supposed to be my first solo mission you promised me remember?" She asked "Technically, yes but you and Hotshot were born on a strange planet and in unfamiliar terrain and I just wanted to make nothing bad happened to you." Bumblebee replied "The only bad thing happening is that you are clearly demonstrating that you don't trust me, my abilities or my training" Gatejumper said sadly. "Your right sweetie, this is your mission I'll leave it to you. Just like I promised" "Thank you daddy" Gatejumper said happily as she hugged him "Your welcome" he said.
~At The Scrapyard~
Meanwhile back at the Scrapyard Fixit was helping Slickswipe "It's was Denny's idea to turbo charge our sparkplugs" Slickswipe informed Fixit, who was scanning his hand and his dad stood by him "You shouldn't helping Denny Clay with technology he doesn't" Fixit stated before a loud crash interrupted him. They looked over to see Denny Underneath some stasis pods and Russell trying to put him out "And what have we here?" He smirked looking down at Denny and Russell "Coming through" Grimlock said walking over before taking out the stasis pod and Denny stood up. Fixit chuckled softly "Denny Clay, I sincerely appropriate your efforts to try to improve our limited sources. But Cybertronian technology is simply to advance for the human brain" Fixit states pointing to the head "Yeah, only big brains like our can understand uh complicated stuff" Grimlock said picking a kazoo "Uh, like this" "Uh, Grimlock, that's a kazoo" Russell said taking the kazoo and blow on it, making loud and weird sound. That made Grimlock to yell in surprise and scared backing away "Agreed. I'm no expert Cybertroinan science but I'm pretty handy guy and I can be a lot more help to you besides proving room, board, and cover story" Denny explained "Well, if you really want to help Denny Clay. Please fix the freaky lift." Fixit glitched before glitching again "Sneaky cliff." He hit his chest "Leaky drip in your laboratory! It is frying my delicate auditory circuit. It could also arm Hotshot if he get near it or smell it" Fixit states with a huff rolling away "Where is Arcee anyways?" Russell asked "I told her to take Hotshot down the road where there a beautiful few not far from the lake and Strongarm on patrol" Denny informed his son. "Is Quin with them? I haven't seen her all morning" Grimlock asked looking at Denny "No. She wasn't around when Arcee and Hotshot left" Denny answered Grimlock.
~In The Jungle~
Meanwhile with Gatejumper she is in a jungle "Personal journal, standing up to a Autobot in training was difficult but I gave myself high marks of respect and professional" Gatejumper states before a binging sound was heard. "I'm closing in on the signal any moment now and. Ugh. Not again" she hid behind a large bush and watch her father past she turns on her lights and sirens that her auntie Strongarm got for her birthday before going after Bumblebee. Bumblebee stops and Gatejumper transformed she walked up to her father angrily "Is there a problem officer?" Bumblebee asked chuckling nervously before transforming. "Dad, I thought we agreed that you had no business beginning on my tailpipe" Gatejumper stated "Watching you is my business, because I'm your father and If it wasn't for me you wouldn't be out here in the first place. I feel responsible for you" Bumblebee said "Dad" Gatejumper said "I know you don't like but I'm coming along. Strictly a an observer, you won't even know I'm here deal?" Bumblebee bargained "Do I have a choice?" She asked giving him a glare "If you want to live through your mother's wrath if she finds out you got hurt because you won't let me watch over you, then no. You don't have a choice" Bumblebee said "I hate it when mom is overprotective" Gatejumper said anger "Sweetie, you read about the wars and she got a part of it. Thought she wouldn't say it, she is terrified of losing someone else. Especially a family member" he told Gatejumper in a stern tone Gatejumper sighed softly and slowly nodded.
