agad akong bumaba ng marinig ko ang pag bukas ng gate, sure akong si mama na yun dahil tuwing weekends ay halos midnight na ang uwi niya dahil sa dami ng trabaho sa Hospital.
"hi mom!" bati ko kay mom ng pag buksan ko siya ng pinto nang mag ngiti sa labi.
"oh, hi Jai, gabi na ah bakit gising ka pa? Alam mo namang bawal kang mag puyat 'di ba?" She said with her usually tone, a worried one.
"may ipapaalam lang po sana ako, alam ko kasi na hindi na kita maabutan." She stopped for a while before looking at me, with a half smile.
I am nervous 'cause I already know what her answer might be, and that is a no.
"sure, love. anything for you." she said smiling brightly.
and with that, my hopes got high and I'm sure her answer is opposite what I'm thinking earlier. I smile brightly at her before talking.
"kasi mom gusto kong sumali sa game this November-" and with that her slime fades, but I ignore it. "-tapos niyayaya din ako ni Lily na sumali since last game ko na 'to, pwede ba akong sumali?" smiling at her, making sure that I'm giving her a assuring smile.
damn, I know it already. bye game.
"Jai, you already know my answer. and I'll repeat it for you, no jaida-"

"-alam nating pareho kung anong mangyayari sayo pag sumali ka sa larong yon. pinag bigyan lang kita last year 'cause your father said so, kaya no Jaida. no." pag-hindi ni mommy.
and by that I broke down, I cry in front of her. her face become soft and hug me, patting my head so I'll calm down.
"I'm sorry to take away your happiness, love. I'm just afraid that I will loose you too, so please understand mama. ok?"
