Chapter 23 - Infestation

(Y/N) and Shockwave were at Shockwave's offsite laboratory when a communication came in

(Y/N): I'll take it.

He pressed the receiver and the voice of Megatron entered the room

Megatron: Comamnder how are the Predacon protoforms?

(Y/N): They are growing on schedule

Megatron: Uh huh

(Y/N): They should be ready within a week

Megatron: I see, not now! Please continue (Y/N)

(Y/N): Who was it?

Megatron: Oh, no one important

(Y/N): Understood, I'm now making my way back to the Warship

Megatron: Confirmed, Megatron out

Shockwave: Are you returning?

(Y/N): Indeed, make sure nothing spirals out of control?

Shockwave: That would be inadvisable

(Y/N) smiled and went through the Groundbridge. 10 minutes later and (Y/N) was back on the bridge. Then Megatron came in with Knockout and Starscream bearing news that there's an infestation of Terracons on the ship

(Y/N): Well if there are elements of dark energon within them, can't you control them my leige?

Megatron: Yes, why can't I command the monster to follow my bidding?

Knockout: While the traces of dark energon should have granted you control of these, ghouls. I believe the synthetic component maybe corrupting your link to them.

Then Megatron turned to me and Soundwave

Megatron: Initiate high alert. Instruct all troops to keep their distance from the mutations, and terminate on sight! Your fate however remains to be seen. Why are you still here! Find this, creation of yours, and eradicate it, immediately!

Then Knockout and Starscream scrammed out of the room. Along with Soundwave.

(Y/N): We need start enforcing our command structure, and put more competent officers in command

Megatron: You know (Y/N), your right. I always put Starscream in charge of military operations. I acknowledge that its the one mistake I keep on making

(Y/N): No need to worry my leige. Only the best leaders acknowledge their mistakes. And you haven't even made that many

Megatron: Then why, for all these years, do we keep losing

(Y/N): That is because of the people under your command. Some of them are like children, they don't know how to run a war. But the reason why we aren't dead yet is because of exceptional officers like Soundwave and Shockwave keeping the Decepticons going

Megatron: This is why I put you in command, you can always see the bigger picture. Starscream, have you made contact with the plague bringer?

Starscream: Actually my leige i have good news, and bad news

Then Megatron growled as Starscream told us that the plague bringer released Arachnid

(Y/N): Doesn't that mean we have a revolution on our hands? As she controls the Insecticons

Megatron: Yes, yes it does

Another 10 minutes later, Soundwave had dealt with Arachnid and the Insecticons. And Starscream and Knockout were about to face the wrath of Megatron

Megatron: (Y/N) the containment protocol you recommended to stop any further outbreaks, us now under way. Oh and inform Shockwave that over just losing half our military might, I cannot stress the importance of project Predacon. Tell him to speed things along will you.

(Y/N): Of course my leige. And Knockout need I remind you that as the ships medic, you report directly to Shockwave not Starscream.

Knockout: Understood commander

(Y/N): Do you? As assurance, you will hand over all your remaining projects to him. Including the synthetic energon

Knockout: By your command, commander

Then Megatron turned to Starscream

Megatron: As for you

Starscream: My leige let me explain...

Megatron: No allow me to explain, enough so I know you will understand
