The survey corpse were a mess. They were hopeless as Eren rampaged attacking the female titan rashly.
Everything was falling apart. Their plan had failed and now the female titan was about to eat Eren. When did it all go wrong?
Seconds away from being eaten Eren was saved by his loyal pup. Only for the girl to almost be killed herself.
Another attacker joined in, destroying the female titan with ease.
If it wasn't for humanity's strongest they would have lost humanity's last hope. The casualties of their failure was too extreme. They weren't even able to kill the female titan in the end. All they got out of this mission was dead troops.
Gathering their fallen onto the carriages they set off. No one uttered a single word as they set off to the castle.
It would take a few days to return so they couldn't stop to grieve. Titans surrounded the area and it was certain they would run into some on their journey back.
On their second day they had came to a clearing where a man stood in tight black cloths. The mystery person standing out in the vibrant green of the field.
"Halt." One of the troops sped up his pace arriving next to the black figure.
