"has any have you seen the new girl in our year that everyone's talking about?"
Damiano asks the three of us as he sits at our table for lunch
"yeah I have, she's in my Maths class"
Thomas replies taking a sip of his juice
"what's she like?"
I ask Thomas curiously
"not gonna lie, she is hot, I bet you would be into her Vic"
"I've heard that she's in Thomas and Victoria's history class, whether that true or not, I don't know"
Ethan tells us
"interesting"
I reply as I finish my food
"I bet that Vic will fall in love with her"
Damiano teases
"I agree"
the other two boys say at the same time
"we'll see I suppose"
I give them a smile

the bell rings indicating that our break was now over so Thomas and I make our way to our history class
I sit down beside Thomas since we are allowed to sit wherever we want
suddenly, I feel a tap on my shoulder so I turn around
"hi is it okay if I sit here?"
A girl with beautiful blonde locks points to the seat beside me
"of course, go ahead"
I say with a smile and start listening to the teacher, who was putting up notes for us to write down on the board and some revision questions underneath it
"I didn't get your name but could you explain these questions to me please, I wasn't in last lesson?"
the girl who sat beside me earlier asks me
"my name is Victoria and sure, I'd love to help you"
"Victoria, that's a beautiful name, my name is Pamela"
Pamela gives me a smile, which I return
our teacher looks around the room, searching for someone to answer the question
Her eyes land on Pamela eventually
"Pamela, do you know the answer?"
"I'm not exactly sure if it's the right answer, but is it Leonardo da Vinci?"
the teacher smiles at her
"that's the exact answer, I was looking for, well done!"

Once our history class was finished, Pamela, Thomas and I walk out of our classroom
"Thanks for all your help today Vic, I really appreciate it"
"no problem and here's my number, we should hang out sometime"
I hand her a little note, which I wrote my number on
"that would be cool, I'll text you later"
Pamela gives me a smile and walks away for us
Thomas turns to me
"You like her don't you?"
"Yeah sort of but what if she's not into girls?"
"you will just have to find out, I suppose"
"I won't ask her about that yet, I'll just wait for a while and then I'll decide what to do"
I reply and Thomas nods
"that's probably for the best"
I start to walk towards my next class
