Everyday, Kaz saw couples leave the crow club, hand in hand, hugging each other, very physical with each other, and his heart ached because he knew he couldn't do that for you. He would often get insecure and not talk to anyone. But you understood, you saw how he looked at those couples and your heart broke for him. There he was, a drink in his hand, a scowl on his face, but you could see the pain in his eyes, the hurt and the sadness. You went over and sat beside him.
" Kaz."
" Im sorry for not being a good boyfriend" he said sadly, not looking at you.
" You're not a bad boyfriend." you reply.
" I can't even kiss you." he grumbled.
" I don't need you to kiss me to know much you love me. I know that because of everything you do. Every coffee you make. Every time I find a new ring for my collection. And know that I love you, and I don't need to touch you to show it."
He looked up then, and he saw your beautiful face, illuminated by the light of the crow club, he saw how your eyes lit up when he smiled, and that only made him smile wider.
" I love you." he said, looking at you adoringly.
" I know"

He remembered how he reacted when he saw you in the sunlight, a lot of people underestimated the beauty of brown eyes, saying they were dull and boring. But your eyes in the sun were anything but. He remembered the way his breath hitched and he fell in love with you all over again, he felt like a silly schoolboy.
And he loved that feeling.

But, boy, did he believe in them whenever he saw you buy a loaf of bread and give it to some poor boy, or when you'd take your coat off and wrap it around some poor soul's shoulders during the winters.
