Silence has been growing between the both of them ever since they continued walking back home.
Hyeju doesn't seem to mind at all but Chaewon on the other hand, has been dying to ask the other some questions.
It's not like she doesn't respect the taller's privacy, she's just very curious about what happened to her as a child. Like what could have been a very traumatic experience for a person like her.
"I can feel you staring" Hyeju said, still looking at where she's going with a straight face
Chaewon stayed silent and gave the other a very judging look like she herself hasn't been the creepy one for the past hour.
Hyeju sighed, stopped in her tracks, looked to Chaewon and said "If you want to ask me your stupid questions, just do it" and continued walking
On Chaewon's face, grew a large smile. "I- uhh. What happened?"She stammered at first but she managed to get her sentences out.
The raven haired girl looked at the blonde with a confused look.
"I mean uh... Earlier, when we first met? When i came in after Jinsoul, you seemed pretty confident. And now... you suddenly became quiet"
Hyeju's eyes looked at Chaewon for a brief second but then answered "I wasn't shot earlier and now i am"
"Wha- That can't be it." Chaewon scoffed "So what, the dick attitude was just a one time thing? You get shot and you suddenly become a fucking baby and just cry about it?"
Hyeju stopped walking.
"I thought you were from Arcane. You're suppose to be the best of the best and yet you cry over a fucking bullet to the leg"
Chaewon knows that her tactics to make the other girl talk is very... suicidal but she likes to have her fun so she's still doing it. No matter how stupid it is.
Hyeju turned around and started walking to Chaewon with a very intimidating face.
Oh crap, here she comes. Get ready me. Chaewon thought in her head
"You think that I'm reacting like this because i want to? I am trying my best not to literally kill you right now" Hyeju kept walking towards Chaewon causing the other to keep backing up until they've reached the wall
"This- this bloodlust that i am trying so hard to control so that I don't get in trouble is-" Hyeju stopped. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
Only now noticing that she's go the blonde pinned to the wall. She looked in to Chaewon's eyes expecting them to be scared but she only saw a glint of empathy
"Hyeju I-" Before Chaewon could've even finished her sentence, the other has already started walking home again

*Knock knock knock*
When the knocks were heard, Jinsoul and Sooyoung quickly pulled out their guns. Hyunjin on the other hand whined and said "oh c'mooonn I JUST GOT COMFORTABLE WITH THIS ONESIE"
Sooyoung and Jinsoul both looked at Hyunjin with angry yet confused faces.
Sooyoung tilted her head towards the door signaling Hyunjin to open it
"Stupid assassins and these stupid duties i can never be at peace with myself" Hyunjin mumbled while walking towards the door and pulling out her gun
"Open in 3" Sooyoung mouthed
"1..."
"2..."
Oh fuck it. Three. Hyunjin thought in her head and pulled the door wide open. The two getting caught off guard by the younger's decision.
They pointed their guns blindly at the door that was recently opened all to see... nothing.
The three looked at each other, confused.
Silence grew for a few minutes until they suddenly hear a scream down the hallway
"GET THE FUCK OFF"
Jinsoul, Sooyoung and Hyunjin immediately ran out the door to see what was happening and saw Hyeju and Chaewon having a staredown
Jinsoul was about to come towards the but Chaewon quickly stared at her, slightly shaking her head.
"It's the bloodlust. If we don't get it under control, she's gonna kill everyone in the room" Sooyoung whispered to Hyunjin and Jinsoul
"Close the door. We don't want the others getting involved" Jinsoul said to Hyunjin
"She's a trained fighter, and a merciless one too. How the fuck are we going to take her on" Jinsoul asked
"That staredown is not gonna last long so we better hurry up" Hyunjin said
Sooyoung grunted, trying to come up with a good plan. "Alright, it's risky but it's the only thing i can think of right now"
While the useless three idiots (as what Chaewon calls them) were explaining the plan to each other, Chaewon herself felt like she was having a staring contest with death
At first she just thought that the bloodlust thing was a joke but clearly, it is not. The desire for blood shed, ain't that interesting
The eye contact between the two of them still hasn't broke so that's good, right?
These idiots are taking too long. I'm making my own move. Chaewon thought. A stupid yet smart decision
The blonde very quickly crouched down to get her gun and stood back up, pointing the gun directly at the other. At that moment, Hyeju smirked.
Hyeju was fast on her feet despite her being shot in the leg earlier. She gained momentum and impressively used the hall walls to have a higher and more painful kick to Chaewon's face
"Oh fuck" Chaewon touched her forehead on where she was kicked and saw blood on her hands. "HURRY THE FUCK UP"
"You wanted your distraction? There it is" Jinsoul said to Sooyoung while pointing at the two who are now fighting
"Alright, this is our chance. Hyunjin, let's go" Sooyoung said

"Why is the door locked?" Jiwoo asked
"What do you mean?" Haseul questioned and came towards Jiwoo
Haseul tried to pull the door open but it clearly wouldn't budge
"These children, I swear to god" Haseul mumbled to herself "Kahei! They're doing something stupid!! I need your help" she screamed
