Chapter 31: Commander

"You fucking bitch ass dick. How dare you show your face to me"

Everyone was very confused except Haseul herself along with the person that she just threw against the wall.

Before anything could happen, someone spoke up "WAIT WAIT WAIT! Please, we come in peace. We don't mean any harm"

Chaewon didn't realize what was going on until she recognized the person who spoke up.

She gasped out of realization "Oh my god." She rushed over to the girl and hugged her "I thought you fucking died in that shitty apartment of yours"

Yerim and the others (except for Haseul) looked at Chaewon in disbelief, still not knowing what the fuck is going on. Because they're pretty sure that Chaewon just hugged one of the people that they're been fighting.

"Oh right, you guys know nothing. This is Kim Yeri. We were in the same batch when i was at Trojan" Yeri smiled and waved

The others just dropped their jaws at all the news that's been brought up.

"That still doesn't explain why this one is here" said Haseul, still looking very serious and mean. "A-actually, she's our new commander" Yeri explained

Haseul let go of the person she's been holding up "Took you long enough." they both laughed

"Ok someone really needs to explain stuff right now because i am on a fucking emotional roller coaster right now." Jiwoo whispered to Vivi

"Oh shut up Haseul, you know that the only reason why I didn't make it as fast as you was because Trojan was freaking corrupted" the other laughed at their little inside joke

"Funny as always Irene." Haseul laughed "Everyone, i want you to meet Irene. We met a long time ago and is apparently the new commander of Trojan"

"Oh, she's Irene" Vivi whispered to herself with a tone of jealousy. Haseul has told stories about Irene before and they were amusing but all Vivi felt was a need to stab someone.

"Hold on, so does this mean no more fighting?" Yerim asked "Yes, Yerim" Sooyoung said in disappointment

"Oh thank god. I wasn't sure if this piece of plastic was gonna last long enough" She said while slowly earning a "you're weird" look from Hyeju

"You guys have to understand, we're really just looking for someone here" Irene said in sort of a worried voice

"This place blew up and everyone was presumed dead. Who the hell are you looking for?" Haseul asked

Irene took a deep breath "Apparently Trojan and Arcane talked a lot before all the explosions happened. Arcane gave back up files to Trojan an now, i gotta find whoever the hell Yves is"

"She's suppose to be the next commander or whatever. But damn this bitch is hard to find. Seriously, why can't we just say that she's probably dead and move on?"

"This is very stressing. We've been trying to find her for like six months now" she said sounding like she's about to cry

Seulgi from the back put her hand on Irene's shoulder "It's been a tough week for her. You guys have to forgive her" she said with a warm smile

"We were given a code name and no pictures. IT'S GETTING SAD." Wendy said out of nowhere, clearly on the brink of insanity

Hyunjin and Sooyoung looked at each other with Hyunjin giving her a "Isn't that you?" look

"It's me" Sooyoung spoke up

"And who is you?" Yeri asked earning a kick from Joy

"I'm Yves"

They all froze like a bunch of ducks seeing bread. "OH THANK GOD YOU'RE ALIVE. I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS GONNA SPEND MY LIFE TRYING TO FIND A PERSON WHO DOESN'T EXIST"

Wendy said crying and hugging Sooyoung as tight as she could. Making sure that this isn't a dream or just her hallucinations.

Irene pulled out a piece of paper and went closer to the two who are still hugging. She ripped Wendy away from Sooyoung and gave her the piece of paper

"Take it. Read it and congratulations on becoming the new commander of Arcane. It sucks" She pulled out another piece of paper and ripped it in front of Sooyoung

"The deal's off. Find another ally because you guys are such shitty partners"

Irene said that and left as fast as they could. The long hunt has finally ended.

"Alright see ya" Haseul said waving them goodbye

They were all currently heading home and Sooyoung is still reading the piece of paper that Irene gave to her. It said nothing but what the commander position had to offer.

She was looking for something like why they chose her. It could've been anyone but noooo they just had to choose her.

Once they got home, everyone went straight to bed. They all needed some sleep. Well, everyone except Sooyoung of course.

Sooyoung opened up her laptop and checked if she now has access to everything. She does. Every case file, every sabotage, and even staged sabotages.

All of the files there were interesting but one caught her eye.

As she read it, the truth slowly unveils. Sooyoung can no longer trust one of the people that she's been living with for the past few months
