Miles's pov:
It was already 4:12am and everyone was starting to give up.I see them start to walk but that just made me more angry then i already was
Awol:HEY what are you guys doing
Shoutout:we're going home
Awol:she wouldn't give up on you guys so don't give up on her
Brainstorm:But Awol we've been looking for Volt for over 9 hours
Awol:fine i guess i'll just find her by myself
Cap man:theres no way you'll find her by yourself you need us
Awol:that might be true but it doesn't hurt to try
Shoutout:i'll be at home sleeping good luck
Awol:ok
I walk the other way and after about 30 minutes its already 4:42am.i keep searching for some clues or something but nothing.
-18 minutes later-
I was walking by no mans land when there was this shrilling scream coming from behind some bushes.I look and i see that it's Volt tied up,her suit was torn and all bloody,i felt so bad for her but i have to call the others to come help.
-5 minutes later-
I had called and texted everyone a dozen times but they never answered so i called the news station.
News:hello
Awol:this is Awol member of danger force
News:oh hello what do you need
Awol:i need to report a kidnapping of Volt from danger force she's in no mans land
News:oh well we will report this right away thank you sir
Awol:your welcome
I hang up and then get a news report i send it to everyone in danger force so they can come here.I check up on Volt but this time there is someone there.
Awol:*whispers*(gasps)thats the downtown terrorist i've got to help her
Downtown terrorist:so Volt i thought i killed you
Volt:you thought wrong
Downtown terrorist:shall i try again
Volt:do it i dare you
Downtown terrorist:you know since you said that i'm gonna slowly torture you til die
Awol:*whisper*where are they
Cap man:what are you doing texting us to come here at 5:23am
Awol:dude i found Volt she got kidnapped by the downtown terrorist
Shoutout:the guy who shot her last week at that lake
Awol:the same
Brainstorm:whats the plan
Awol:you guys distract and fight him with caution while i get Volt out
Danger force:ok
Cap man:HEY YOU Stop what your doing
Downtown terrorist:Man i can't wait for this fight your gonna get crushed
And with that they start fighting so i run over to Volt.I untie her and I instantly wrap my arms around her,bring her to the entrance of No mans land,she starts crying so i just hug her tighter.
Volt:i-I'm sorry
Awol:shhh your safe now
-5 minutes later-
3rd person pov:
Volt pushes Awol's hands away and starts walking towards the fight but Awol grabs her wrist
Awol:its too dangerous out there you need to stay here
Volt:look i get it your looking out for me but i have an idea that can get that guy arrested
Volt tugs her wrist out of his grasp and all she was thinking was her plan
"If he was distracted with killing the rest then i can attack him"
Which is what she did.She quickly charged at him but he was quicker than she thought.He quickly grabbed her wrist and threw her over his shoulder,slamming her into the ground leaving her in pain.She bit through the pain and stood up ready to fight again making sure no one interfered with it.They both charged at each other meeting each other halfway.Volts body was slowing her down and thought about what Awol taught her while fighting.
"Try to be water water goes wherever it wants with no hesitation"
She side stepped and kicked his leg out from under him.He staggered back but recovered before Volt could zipper kick him.he reacted quite fast as he grabbed her foot and threw her across the room into a huge rock.Volt groaned in pain as she was drifting in and out of consciousness.Awol came over to her and started talking so she doesn't go unconscious
Awol:champ as your hype man you got this now finish him tell me if you need help
Volt:ok i will also tell brainstorm that when i jump before we hit the ground use his powers he'll know what to do
Awol:ok?
Before Volt can get up and fight the downtown terrorist come over,knocks Awol over,picks up Volt and dangles her over the biggest cliff in all of Swellview.Volt looks over her shoulder and all she sees is dirt,rocks,and trees.Volt is now in the position where she is scared for her life which rarely happens.
Downtown terrorist:you know i might not kill so many people today but killing you will be a win too
Volt:you can't kill me
Downtown terrorist:well why can't i little girl
Volt:you can't kill someone who has nothing to lose
After Volt said that she kicked his knee and held a tight grasp on the guys shirt.while she did that she threw herself backwards,saluting to her friends as she might be dead in a couple seconds.She let his shirt go as she closed her eyes,her back to the ground,seconds away from death but when she opened her eyes she noticed the familiar yellow fabric.She looked up and saw Awol's face.A smile grew across her lips happy to be safe and that the downtown terrorist was a foot off the ground ready to be arrested.
Awol:I couldn't let you die on me again
Volt chuckled at what Awol said and for a couple seconds they were staring at each other which felt like an eternity.They both slowly start to lean in and soon their lips collided forming a gentle kiss.For years they have been just best friends but this is the time where they thought they were something more than that.The both of them started to hear clapping in the background and cameras taking a picture so they pulled apart in embarrassment.
Trent:this just in the two former hero's Awol and Volt just kissed Volt how do you feel about that
Volt:umm i don't know
Trent:well it looks like your plan worked i mean for a second there i thought you were gonna commit suicide
Volt starts to get teary eyed thinking of her big sister and her family.
Volt:No i'm not like my family sorry excuse me for a moment
Volt walked over behind a rock and screamed at the top of her lungs.I'm telling you she screamed bloody murder.Volt walked out from behind the rock.
Awol:Bro you good
Volt:yea needed to get that out of my system
Trent:well when you said that your not like your family,what did you mean
Volt:i don't wanna talk about it goodnight guys
Awol:here let me walk with you

Volt and Awol walk back to the house hand in hand thinking about the events that have happened all in a 2 hour span
