The Dragon Academy's Most Feared

There was four chosen teenagers whom received a letter by pigeon, and a very special girl that was raised by a powerful dragon named Gandora. The girl was one of them. I don't know, this seems dangerous, Rose. She smiled and said I agree but it has been a long time since I have had a real competition against other humans and been beside them you know? Gandora closed his eyes and sighed before saying, just be careful out there, and be sure to write to me via pigeon okay? Rose jumped in joy and Gandora smiled happily at the sight, he liked seeing Rose happy, it warmed his heart. Rose began to pack and Gandora reached out his arm revealing a glowing gemstone and said take this with you, keep it with you at all times. It contains a portion of my power. Usually there is a test of strength to allow students who were invited into the academy this may help you. It cannot be seen or felt by those who do not know me like you do. Rose took the gemstone and put in her pocket before falling asleep after she finished getting ready. Gandora gently covered her up with a blanket and left the mountain cave to hunt. The following morning he returned to the cave with rabbit and deer, however he did notice that Rose was gone and a note was left where she was asleep. It said as follows "I have began my journey to the academy I will try to write to you if i can. Love, Rose." Gandora smiled and ate. Rose walked for days and after walking for six days she finally stopped and saw three other people standing at a gate and she thought to herself "Those must be the others that were invited." so she walked towards them but was stopped by a guard holding a spear who blocked her path and asked her, "invitation?" Rose reached into her pocket to grab it but accidentally touched the gemstone, instead and grew wings and a tail and snarled I am Rose! Here! She handed him a slightly burned invitation and returned to normal, she looked at the now frightened guard who was trimmering in fear and he stuttered, Go ahead through, Rose DarkRuby! She returned to normal and asked, what just happened? Then walked through and saw that the others were trimmering in fear until the gates opened and a man with long white hair accompanied by a short red haired girl stepped in front of them and said "Welcome to Dragon Rider's Academy! You will be tested by picking up a dragon egg! If it hatches, that dragon will be your lives partner! Now, pick your egg!" A line of dragon eggs was placed in front of the chosen candidates and the red headed girl chose the red fire dragon egg, the blue hair boy chose the water dragon egg, and the mid long white haired boy chose the sky dragon egg, and Rose chose the black and red lined egg, the shadow dragon egg. The others' eggs have already hatched but Rosé's hasn't it has been three minutes they were about to bring out another cart when a cracking sound came from Rosé's egg, it was finally hatching. It feeds off of others negativity. When it finally hatched, it looked like a similar form of Gandora. Rose reached into her pocket and grabbed the gemstone carefully and gave it to the hatchling. It instantly grew into a teen by feeding off of the gemstone's energy. Everyone around was amazed and Rose was put into a special room with her dragon right away. Rosé looked at it and whispers could I please have it back Shadow? It hesitantly reached out its hand and puts the gemstone back into Rosé's hand and the two laid down, falling asleep with their heads nudged against each others. Shadow was on Rosé's shoulder and in front of them was a long pathway that leads to a large haunted looking mansion and on each side of the path were white waving arms. Rosé knew that if she were to step on the pathway they would grasp her legs, but what she wasn't aware of is that her dragon, Shadow, was growing more and more from her fear. He jumped on top of the pathway, burning the hands as they touched his legs. He turned his head to loook at her and she climbed on to his back, and made it to the mansion where he shrunk and jumped back on to her shoulder again. Rosé opens the door slowly and it creeks as she does. A pair of black hands quickly grab her and pulled her inside. She woke up and saw Shadow beside the bed, on the floor looking at her with his glowing yellow eyes and he tilted his head as if he were concerned for her. Rose was covered in sweat but said, no no boy, i'm fine, it was just a bad dream that's all. He tilted his head straight knowing that she was lying but laid back down anyways. Two hours later the bell rings and Rosé gets Shadow and heads outside and lines up with the rest of the trainee's and the teacher gives instructions for her and the sky dragon trainee to battle and not to hold anything back. Shadow was smiling like he has been waiting for this. The sky dragon trainee got in the air and shouted " c'mon you long black haired monster! Show me what nasty crap your made of!" That insult was infuriating, to both Gandora and to me. I put the gemstone on Shadow's forhead and hopped on him saying lets show him not to call me a monster. Shadow! Don't hold anything back! The stone glows rapidly and Shadows body is filled with Gandora's strength. He flies up sharing it with Rosé. The boy said I will show you the powers of the skies! Shadow and Rosé remained silent in rage. The bell rang and the boy attacked Shadow with everything he had until he had nothing left. He was breathing heavily while Shadows injuries were quickly healing and Rosé looked down at them before looking back at the boy and asked in synchrocity with Shadow: is that all you got? How pathetic. The trainee looks at his dragons eye and noticed that it was scarred. He flinched and asked, when did you?! The bell rang again and shadow with rose said teaches you to call me a monster. Rosé took the gemstone and and walked Shadow to her dorm room while the boys dragon was being healed by the other teachers. Rosé wrote pigeon to her father, Gandora and then went to get lunch after feeding Shadow some crackers. As Rosé entered the cafeteria, everyone in it took a step back in fear per each step Rose took. Rose spotted the boy. Shivering in his seat and she approached him, put her hand on his shoulder, bent over, and whispered in the boys ear "If you ever have the guts to call me a monster again, you will cease to exist, Remember that." Rosé stood up and got some steak and meatloaf along with a glass of water then sat down at a nearby table then began to eat like a beast, terrifying the others to leave a message "not to mess with her." But! One boy stayed. It was a dragon rider who owned a thunder dragon. He approached her and asked her, your name is Rosé, right? She was ignoring him and he said, my name is Tray. A minute past and Rose asks him I'm about to leave, what do you want Crackhead? Ignoring her insult, Trey smiled and asks her if she wanted to draw pictures with him under the cherry blossoms just outside campus after class, she can bring Shadow too, after all he was bringing his dragon, Lightning. Rosé was not intrigued and said leave me alone, i don't trust you humans... Trey then asked her, then why are you here around many of them? Rose became angry and lifted Trey upwards by the throat and said "listen here human, i am nothing like any of you humans, if you don't leave me alone, you will die a painful death." Then she released her grip and Tray fell on the floor coughing and trying to regain his breathe. Rose put her dish on the counter and glared at him one more time before leaving the cafeteria. As she closed her dorm rooms door, Shadow jumped on to her shoulder and rubbed her cheek. Out of love but sensed her previous emotions and grew up a little bit, puttting some weight on Rose's body. She apologized to him and he returned to his normal size and smiled. Rose laid down down on the corner of her bed when her door whas slammed oopen and Shadow was taken away from her. He put up a fight, biting and struggling but was restrained. Upon seeing her partner being taken from her, Rose was left with no other choice. She put on a cursed ring to her finger, the one that she found on her way to this academy, and the gemstone that Gandora gave to her and placed it on to her forehead. Power overflowed through her entire body. She stood up carrying impure hatred through her whole body, her eyes were glowing blood red and she even had massive claws and talons. The crew carrying Shadow looked at Rosé in fear and she said "Give, him, back, or else!" The headmaster and his attendendent walked out of his office and saw what was happening and the headmaster asked the crew "what in Sam's name are you doing? Stealing a trainee's dragon? Return Shadow at once!" Rose glared at the headmaster before turning around, swinging her black cape with her as she stomped down the hallway, leaving talon imprints where she stomped, Stopping at her doorway. Seeing as Shadow was asleep onn her bed, Rosé took off the cursed ring and gemstone before falling asleep next to him for the rest of the day.

The next day,

Rose woke up with shadow in a dark room, the lights turned on and in middle of the room was an uncomfortable looking bed. Across and up. From it was a glass pane window with the director of the dragon trainer school. He said through a microphone "The headmaster told me what he saw, and have decided to give you whatvery few riders receive. If you decline, howeveryour invitation will be revoked and you will no longer be allowed access to my school." Rose looks up at the director and asks him "Fine! What do you want from me?" The director smiled and said "lay down on that table wnd you will see first hand." Rosé approached the table with caution and laid on it, a red table with a massive weapon and a bracelet on. It appeared beside her and the director said "Go on, place your wrist inbetween the bracelet." Rosé hesitated but did so and some kind of drill clinched the bracelet together causing extreme pain and Rosé sat up with black fumes emitting from the bracelet as the blade was smashed into the ground. The director chuckles and said through the microphone "congrats, your now a god eater. You have top level clarity in my academy and the power to combine with your dragon and share both of your powers. Rest for now you need your strength for tomorrow's trainee battle. Rosé looked at her wrist and the weapon she was wielding before walking towards the exit and saw Shadow and she fell in front of him before asking him "Are you ready to win again tomorrow buddy? He smiled and carried Rosé on his back to her bed and placed her there before laying beside her. The next morning, Rose woke up in her bed shaken, and briefly sighed as she remembered the events of the following afternoon, she at her left wrist and saaw the bracelet. She. For the first time in her life, Rose felt fear, and it was terrifying. Shadow looked at her as his wings flapped a vicious wind all throughout her room knocking things over and moving others out of place with a black wind. He grew to an adolescent ranked dragon over night and wanted to show it to Rosé in some way, shape, or form. As. She slept, Rosé felt an unfamiliar presence. But it is one that she remembers well. She queitly got out of bed, making sure not to wake up Shadow as she grabbed her gear and headed out. Before leaving her room, Rose said "sleep well, i will return." In dragons language and she left the room. Rose looked around at the other rooms and darkness was emitting from open doors. So she approached Tray's and hesitantly reached out to open it and voice speaking the dragon language asked her "you sure you want to do that?" Rose turned pale white as she turned to face who she saw, it was her father in his human form although this time dressed different. Rose wasn't one to break. Easily but this did it, her father, Gandora, was standing before holding out his arm and said "I am here to make an exchange. Give me back that gemstone, and not only will I free these pathetic humans, but you'll get one of my scales, and with it, even more power. Your choice." Rose reached into her pocket and pulled out a red gemstone and handed It to him as he gave her a black and red dragons scale. Smirked then said "you have saved many lives here, but will you do it again? We are indeed the true essence of evil after all. Just wait for what tomorrow brings you and Shadow, mithrall."
