ELISE MEYERwas a smart kid. Good grades. Polite. Anything you could dream of in an 11 year old. But not everything lasts. Right? Wrong! It did last for Elise. But she just fell in love during the process.
When 50% of the population left, she didn't know what to feel.Her mother had been dusted away. Some of her favorite superhero's as well. Spider-Man was a great example for that. But also Black Panther. Oh, how she loved them both so much. They were practically her idols!
The point is, she didn't really understand the term.Like, dusted? Why couldn't they have used the word 'erased'? It's like when she used her eraser pencil to erase a mistake. Except she thought no one was a mistake. However, Thanos may have thought differently than her.
A lot of people became sadder. Not leaving the house. Visiting the site where every single person's name laid.Her father was included. He had pictures of Elise's mother around the house. Sometimes she would come home from school and he would be talking to one of the pictures. It was the way he coped. And she understood that.
