Happily ever afters are not easy to come by. This was a lesson that Brianne Benson, or Bree, learned when she was only seven years old and faced her first true horror in life. She left her beloved stuffed pig, Porkie, on the local bus.
It was never to be seen again.
Sadly this wouldn't be the only tragedy that occur in Bree's life, but it was the first momentous one. The first real loss that Bree experienced paved the way for her, not that she would really remember it in ten years when the next great loss of her life occurred. No, Porkie would be forgotten and Bree would move on.
If only all losses were as easy to move on from as this.
Though Bree didn't think this at the time, no. This was before her life went up in ashes and only Sirius Black and his gang of Marauders could be to blame.
