The rest of the internship goes by in a flash, till eventually comes the day where I've gotta leave.

"Well, Miyamoto, I rather enjoyed our time together. I'm a bit sad to see it come to an end" Doctor Octavius says to me

"Me too doc, and if you ever need my help for anything, you know how to reach me" I say

"I'll keep that in mind, it was nice to have a lab partner who could double check my work" he says

"Well, guess I'll be seeing you soon then" I say

With a final goodbye, I leave the lab and make my way home for school tomorrow.

The next day...
After a bit of spidey work, I force myself to actually arrive at school not last minute.

"Woah, Miyamoto, you're early" Inaba says to me

"I'm here at a normal time..." I deadpan

"Did that internship actually give you a sense of time management or something?" She jokes

"Nope I just missed you and your sarcasm after a whole week without it" I sarcastically say

"Well, maybe the lateness curse has transferred to Sugiyama, he's normally here by now" she says

"Who knows, maybe he's just going to see Tokuda" I say

"Oh well, guess I'll just look at schematics until he's here" she says while taking out her laptop

I head over to my table and see Mei doing her usual tinkering.

"Yo, Mei. How was your internship?" I ask while sitting

"Kenta! It was awesome! I got to see so many cool and creative babies! It really flooded my brain with future baby ideas!" She says

"Mei...your brain is always flooded with ideas..." I say

"I know! That's what makes it even more grand!" She says

"Well, my internship was awesome as well. Dr.Octavius is a great teacher and he taught me a lot about Neurophysiology and prosthetics that could hypothetically be linked to your neural network" I say

"Prosthetics linked to the neural network?! That would basically make the prosthetic basically a perfect replica of the missing appendage!" she says now excited

"I know, right. And doc wants to use those prosthetics to help people at an affordable price" I say

"Why couldn't I have gone with you?! That sounds like so much fun!" She says

"Who knows, maybe one day I can take you to the lab and introduce you to doc" I say

"You get to go back?!" She asks surprised

"Uh, yeah? Doesn't everyone?" I ask

"I don't! Oscorp took away my ID card that lets me enter the building" she says

"Huh...I'll have to ask around and see if that's normal or if it's just you" I say

Eventually, Power Loader walks into the classroom and stands at the podium.

"Alright class, welcome back from your internships. I hope you learned a lot because you'll be using what you learned for your final exam" he says

"Oh crap, I forgot about final exams. I mean I know I'll pass them but still" I think

"Sir, what will our final exams be like?" Takanashi asks
