The next day you woke up tucked into Sebastian's side, both of you were squished on your couch, holding each other close, a small blanket loosely draped around both of you. Shifting away from him, you slowly sat up. Sebastian shot up, feeling your warmth being ripped away from him.

"Hey?" You put your hand on his in hopes it would calm him down, fortunately, it did. His eyes scanned the room, before landing on you, seeing you a bit scared and shocked. "Um, mornin'?" You tried to smile, drawing light circles on his hand.

"Hey," He returned the smile, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"Are you okay?" You timidly asked.

"Yeah, um, just a bit shook up, I guess." He gave you another reassuring smile.

"A nightmare?" You asked, making him widen his eyes at you. "No, no, I get it. After my dad... I used to have them too, it made me paranoid, and lose my mind. I felt like there was always this set of eyes on me," You looked down, fiddling with your fingers, "I tried to think that it was just my dad looking down at me, watching over my every step, and it somehow calm me down to think like that, but," You looked up at him, his wide eyes stare at you with sympathy, and concern. "Oh my god, I am just rambling on, sorry."

"No, it's okay. it's good to know I'm not the only delusional person around here." He laughed.

Both of you just sat there awkwardly after his laugh died out. Your hand, still on his, and your eyes locked. It was addicting, how much his eyes pulled you, how they were dominant but still gentle.

"Um," You cleared your throat, breaking the contact and taking your hand off of his. "I, I'm gonna, gonna go fresh up." You said getting up. What the hell is wrong with you? He's twice your age.

"Um, yeah, okay... I- I will clean this up." He shifted up, pointing to the leftover take-out from yesterday. You nodded and walked to your room.

A weird feeling built up in your chest, you felt things you haven't felt before, or at least not in a long time. During the time in the shower, all you could think about was how you guys spent last night, how he looked at you, how open you were with him yesterday. What did I open up to him so freely? How am I able to talk to him about the things I haven't even told Ryan? How is he able to get through the walls I put up? How is he able to break me down?

You walked out of the shower and got dressed still wondering about that, as you walked out of your room you were met by an empty living room. Assuming Sebastian was still in the shower you proceeded to the kitchen to get started on breakfast? 12 pm! Never mind, lunch. You set everything ready for an avocado toast with a little Al twist.

"Wow! That smells really good," Sebastian walked into the room, his wet hair, sitting perfectly on around his head, his eyes shining brightly under the fluorescent lighting. You turned around holding a pan with asparagus sizzling.

"Eww!" He squealed, stepping away from you. You shook your head, smiling at how Ryan behaved the same way and turned to continue cooking.

"What?" He slowly sat down, watching you work effortlessly as you still talked to him.

"Ryan reacts the same way. I always have to hide the asparagus, or she would whine for hours about her strong distaste." You looked back at him.

"Well, it's disgusting, and-"

"It's like 'why are you cooking grass?'. Yeah, I know." You nodded, moving the vegetable to a plate and single-handedly cracking an egg into the boiling water.

"How did you?" He looked up at you, pointing a finger in the air. "Nevermind, it doesn't matter. I need food and I need it now. I don't want to see whatever you're making with that devil's vegetable."
