-SCARLETT'S POV-

When I pictured having the "kids" talk with Jensen, I hadn't expected him to bring it up first. I suppose I should have seen it coming, though, with the direction our conversation was taking. I told him I had always had a knack for little kids, especially ages 3-5. That was the age group I planned to teach before I switched to acting to stick with family roots. When he asked about having my own kids, I found myself saying that with the right guy at the right time, I wouldn't mind having a few of my own.

As the weeks passed and it got closer and closer to time to start filming for Season 12, the subject was never broached again. JJ stayed with us one more time before we had to fly up to Vancouver, this time for an entire week. I knew Jensen was still slightly wary of Danneel surrounding the whole affair, and I didn't really blame him, but every time I caught him watching JJ and I play together out of the corner of my eye, he had this dopey grin on his face and his eyes sparkled.

"Season 12," I sighed as we were driving to set two weeks after JJ went back to Danneel.

"Excited?" Jensen questioned me.

"And nervous."

"You don't need to be."

"I know, but it's only been a year since I started. You've been doing this for 11 years. I think I'm entitled."

Jensen chuckled, kissing the back of my hand that he had in his grip.

"It'll be fine," he informed me.

Two hours later I was in costume and getting my hair and makeup done. Jared was also there getting ready. Jensen didn't have to film a scene for a while, so he was chilling back in his trailer.

"You ready to start your second season?" Jared asked me.

"As I'll ever be," I replied and he laughed.

***

The woman who had captured Sam and Faith at the end of the finale stood in front of Jared and I. We were both tied up in chairs next to each other.

"Toni Bevell, London Chapterhouse," Jared spoke.

"That's right," Elizabeth nodded.

"So, you're what? English Men of Letters?" I asked.

"British," she corrected.

"Where are we?"

"Does it matter?"

"Just wondering how far we'll have to walk back to town after we kill you. And her," I nodded to the other woman standing in the corner by the stairs, "but you first."

"Yes, well," Elizabeth sighed. "Before you murder us all, we do have some questions about you, his brother, Hunters in America, and how you saved the sun."

Jared scoffed, drawing Elizabeth's attention off of me.

"Right. You shoot me, kidnap both of us, but yeah, happy to help."

"I didn't want to hurt you, Sam. You gave me no choice. At least Faith was smart enough to come without a fuss. And, well, I could say it was never supposed to go this way but you're... you. It was always supposed to go this way."

"And you know me?"

"We do. We've been watching you and your brother for years. Ever since you almost ended the world the first time. We knew all about Lucifer, the angels falling..."
