Page 4 "Games"

(Kuroo POV)

"Deal" I said in less than a second

I was very confident I could win, no one has beaten me before -- besides Kenma... and Yaku.. but other than that no one has beaten me in Kario Mart!

"Alright then, let's play" Remi said turning to the TV

I then turn to the TV and get the game set up.

We then pick our characters, I pick Princess Plum with a Royalty Racer and Remi picks Daina with a Mach Bike.

"Hah, I'm so gonna win, Princess Plum is the best character! Whenever I play with her, I win!" I lie trying to make them feel more intimidated "You can back out now to save yourself the embarrassment."

"Pfft, really? I highly doubt you've beaten Kenma, even with Princess Plum, so that's a total lie -- but Daina on the other hand, whenever my sister plays she chooses Diana, and she always wins" Remi says smirking

Wait... Did he just say Kenma..? This guy keeps getting more and more suspicious...

"It is not a lie!" It in fact is a lie but I'm not telling him that "and that's when your sister plays, and not you"

"Okay, well I wOuLD play Diana, but my sister always plays her so I never get a chance to." They said rolling xeir eyes

"Sure sure, get ready to get your ass kicked though." I said pressing continue then pressing onto the Ptoad Cup

"Hey hey no swearing in my Christian Minecraft server" Remi said leaning closer to the TV as it counted us down

I click the number 2 button as the three fades away

I hear Remi click xeir button as the two fades away

1...

*insert the noise here*

"BOO-YA I GOT THE BOOST!" Remi cheered as he went flying ahead of me

"Crap! I stalled, I pressed it too early" I exclaimed, annoyed

"Hehehehehehehehe" Zion laughed as he passed a NPC into 4th place

"Stop laughing! It's hard y'know" I whined as I tried to catch up to them

~Timeskip to the end of the last race because I'm lazy~

"HECK YEAAAHHHH!! I'M GONNA GET FIRST" I yelled as I neared the end

Remi gritted xeir teeth "Oh no you won't!"

And then a few inches from the finish line A PURPLE SHELL COMES OUT OF NOWHERE.

"NOOO! NOT A FUCKING PURPLE SHELL." I yelled trying to go back to racing

"mWUAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA" Remi starts laughing as he passes me doing a wheelie

"NO NO NOOO!!" I finally am able to move again but it's already too late

Remi passed the finish line in first whereas I passed it finishing in 5th

"Boo-ya-ka-sha!" Zion cheered

"Aarghhh no fair! If it wasn't for that purple shell!" I said clicking continue so we could see the results

We skip the whole ceremony thingy and see the end results

Remi got second

And I got

4th...

"HAHAHAHA YOU DIDN'T EVEN PLACE ON THE PODIUM" Remi says through tears of laughter "AND YOU SAID PRINCESS PLUM ALWAYS WINS AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA"

"OH SHUT UP" I said angrily

"Hehehe, guess now you can't say not having a joystick is psychotic"

"Ughh fine, I guess you're right" I groaned

"Welp, now what?" Remi said looking over at me

"Hmm, wanna play R-ton?" I asked leaning back in my beanbag chair

"Oooh heck yeah! And I'll beat you in that too" Remi said grinning

"Oh hell no!" I said sitting back up "this I'm definitely beating you in!"

"Oh no no no, this I'm even better at! I've even won when I was using my mouth to steer" Remi said proudly "Err -- don't question it, I was a weird kid back then"

"Pfft- like you aren't weird now"

Remi stared at me then said

"What is weird? Someone who is different or someone who is different from you?"

"Uhhh, I don't know?" I questioned

"Yeah, I don't know either, I was just quoting Master Wu." He shrugged then turned to the TV

"Alrighty then" I said then got up to get the R-ton disc

After I finish setting up I plop back down on my bean-bag chair.

I click on R-ton and start it up.

After that's done I pick the Light Cycle Arena.

We both pick our characters, then our bikes, I pick the Fawn ryder and he picks the Durable

"Really? The Durable? Those are so slow!" I said

"Okay, true, but I don't like going that fast, plus this isn't about speed. Also it's the thing I always play with, and -- as the name says -- it's durable" Remi replies, turning to me and smirking at the end

I glare at him then turn to the TV and press continue

The game starts us off
