Part 37: Big Win & Proud Moment

Ace's POV:

It's been two weeks since the truth been revealed. Ava was sad for a week since than, because of Nick. It took time for her to accept that Nick was also a part of this shameful plan.

Our intercollegiate competitions began since last week. Everyone is geared up this time as we have to win the best Pharmacy college trophy this year. And for my luck I have been doing pretty well with all medications, exercise and especially yoga all credit goes to Ava. She is been following her routine starting with an one hour run and half an hour yoga. This year our college is hosting the competitions.

Last week we were done with running race, relay race and volleyball match. Ava played volleyball match so well, she was the best player in the game. And yes our college team won the match. I am so happy for Ava.

Next week is our football match. I being in the final year, nominated as teams captain. I practice extra two hours everyday as missed most of it due to my accident last month.

Talking about Uncle Everette he is sentenced to jail. While Nick and Julia were set free of charge after serving two weeks of suspension from college and doing community work. Ever since they both joined the college, have been hiding and ignoring us. Which is good I seriously don't want to see their faces anymore.

Ava's POV:

I was so happy to win the volleyball match. Being the captain of the team was an added responsibility but I guess I did well. I am also being nominated as best player in volleyball match. It was so motivating. After going through all this since past few months, finally my life has been back to normal.

Talking about Nick he did joined college this week. He tried to talk to me and apologise but I just ignored him. He broke my trust, betrayed me. I am not in any mood to entertain him right now.

I did told about him to my parents and Cassie, they were shocked to hear this. My parents literally asked me several times am I sure about the allegations on Nick. I told them police has evidence against him  and currently he is serving his punishment. Cassie was literally crying, knowing our childhood best friend betrayed us is an most heartbreaking thing.

Well everything has slowly settled now. Next week is the football match and everyone is geared up for the same. Especially Ace being an captain of the team is an added responsibility, because I have been the one. It is his last College Match. He is alright now, he's arm and leg are perfectly fine. He's back in his  form. His passion for football made him heal faster.

Ace's POV:

Today our match is scheduled in first half. Our college has secured its position in finale. I am so excited.

We are done through half way of the game. I called my team as it is few minutes break time. Both teams are at equals we have to plan strategically to win this game. I made a plan which includes team mates pretending as if I am going to make a goal. But in actual Luke will do it. Liam and Josh were given responsibility to be around Luke so he could make a goal without any hurdles.

Break over and our match began, as decided the teammates played as per our strategy and it worked as only one minute was left and Luke secured a goal within record time. We won the match, Luke being the best player. I am so happy for the team, especially for Luke. Finally his dream came true.

"We won bro" Luke came and hugged me with teary eyes.

"Yes, congratulations Luke" I said smiling.

I could see Lily being very excited to see Luke announced as best player. She came running towards him and hugged him. I am happy for both of them. They are perfect for each other.

Our team was called on the stage to receive our trophy from our trusty and other college's dean. We celebrated with Champagne in the canteen. Cake was cut.

Party was arranged at Liam's house. Everyone enjoyed a lot. I mostly danced with my love Ava almost whole night.
