You didn't like what you saw
Complaining about all those flaws
Covering up those bright bronze of yours
Replacing those wool for plastic locks
You'd erase and then redraw
Perfect works of art you tore
You couldn't see the beauty, your eyes had been blurred
The virgin nape of your skin no hands had ever explored
Your soft succulent lips and crafted curves
Your beauty unfathomable, I couldn't ask for more
If only in your reflection you could see what I saw
Then maybe you wouldn't wish to be white anymore.
