i'm a walking travesty

but i'm smiling at everything

Ashton and I were in Science class passing notes.

A: What did you do yesterday after school?

L: I went to the park

A: Ooh, more paintings

L: Yeah..and I kind of met someone

A: Tell me

L: No

A: Why?

L: Because he's not going to lasts. Nothing ever good happens to me. He kept complementing me, and I kind of liked it. But I'll never tell him that

A: So I'm not a good thing? I see how it is!

L: No! Ash I'm sorry ):

A: It's cool

Our notes were stopped by the door closing.

The person gave the teacher a note and walked to were the desks were.

It wasn't just any person it was Calum, and he wasn't smiling. He had a black eye too.

He walked passed me, not even looking my way.

See! I told you nothing ever good happens to me.

I took my phone out.

'i see you'

'no you dont'

'calum, look up'

I turned around and Calum's eyes met mine.

After that class I didn't see Calum anymore.

"I miss Michael" Ashton frowned.

"Me too"

Michael was also my best friend. He likes pizza and video games. He also dyes his hair a lot.

Ashton and I were eating lunch. Well Ashton was eating lunch.

"Can I sit here?"

"Yeah, sure man" Ashton replied.

Calum sat next to me and began to eat.

"Why do you have a black eye?" I asked him.

Ashton looked at him worriedly.

Calum shrugged ignoring my question.

"Calum, if you don't answer I won't be your friend" I crossed my arms

Ashton smirked. "Ooh, so this is Calum!"

I turned my head sharply at Ashton, and glared at him.

This caused Calum to think I forgot.

"Hey mate. What happened to your eye? We won't tell anyone" Ashton whispered.

"I fell" Calum responded while he finished eating all his food.

"Don't lie to us..to me" I responded.

He turned to me, and sighed heavily. "I can't tell you"

"Why?"

Calum exchanged glances to me and Ash. "I'm not allowed to"

"It's fine" Ashton replied.

Calum looked at my un-eaten tray.

"Ugh, not you too"

"Are you going to eat?"

"No" I mumbled.

"Can I have it?" He asked with big eyes.

I pushed it over to him, and he devoured it.

Ashton and I laughed at him.

"Mate, it's like you don't eat at home" Ashton giggled.

Calum frowned and his eyes widened, but then replaced it with a small smile.

Ashton didn't notice but I did.
