Train ride and a new friend

|| TEDDYS POV ||

I was at the platform with grandma andromeda
And I saw a boy with bright green hair, cool! I might have friends while im here!

"Bye gran!" I said trying to get on the train
"Wait"
"Hm?"
"...you look exactly like your mom sweetie" she said taking a picture
"Grannn stop your embarrassing mee..."
"Okokok go on then"

I got onto the train and found an empty compartment and to my luck the green haired boy I saw earlier came in.

"This seat free?" He asked

"Oh uh yea!" I replied nervous

"Cool, hi I'm Rory, Rory Scamander"he said chipper

"I'm teddy lupin"

"Teddy?" He said chuckling

"It's a nickname haha"

"Cool, I like your hair!"

"Thanks I like yours!"

"Thanks, took me hell of a lot to get the teachers to agree to it."

"Oh I didn't have to."

"Yea I guessed your a Metamorphmagus?"

"Haha..yea.." I said a bit awkwardly

"Awesome!"

"Haha thanks,"

We chatted for about an hour till he fell asleep, it was cute...

We arrived and I woke him up

"Hey..hey wake up we're here"

"Huh?... thanks dude"

We both walked out and to the hall I hope I get sorted into his house he's really cool

I went up and the sorting hat yelled

"Hmmm..... HUFFLEPUFF"

I was so happy my hair changed colour.. I was a bit embarrassed,

Then they called " Rory Scamander"

"Hmmmmm very interesting.." the hat said while Rory sat there nervous
" very difficult you are indeed..I'd say GRIFFINDOOR"
You could see the shock on his face he wasn't unhappy he just wasn't expecting it.

I was a bit sad because I didn't get in the same house, but atleast the dorms aren't that far away.
WHAT AM I SAYING!!!??? I just met this guy today? What is going on??

|| Rorys POV ||

"Hey I think your hair has the wrong house" he said laughing

I just slouched in my seat eating

After everyone was all finished unpacking I met a boy named albus he was pretty nice so was this boy named Hugo but I want to find the one I met earlier,teddy I think his name was.

I walked the halls near the hufflepuff dorm to see if he was there and he was!

"Hey teddy!" I shouted after I spotted him

"Oh hey Rory! What are you doing here? Aren't the griffindoor dorms all the way up in the towers?"
He said a bit confused

"Well yea but I wanted to see you!"

"Why? May I ask?"

"Your quite literally the only person I know here."

"Oh right haha"he laughed
His laugh was nice

"I'm going to the library if you want to come?" Teddy said like I wouldn't be interested

"Hell yea I need t find out more about this world I don't know" I said enthusiastically

"Oh are your family not wizards?" He asked

"No were pure bloods I just want to learn more!"

"Oh ok sorry" he said thinking he offended me

"No it's fine"

That was the start of a life time long friend ship.

We skip to 4 year in the next chapter because nothing really happens other then us becoming a bit of trouble for the teachers and me meating his grandmother.
