「ARRANGED MARRIAGE 」

dinner

the next day was the dinner my mother is forcing me to wear a stupid dress so i put on this black dress with straps that crumpled a bit on the sides, i matched with some white heals and curled my hair, i mean if this is my last night being open to any guy i want i might as well go all out. i grabbed my purse and sprayed some perfume before walking out the door, i met my father and brothers, luka and isaak in the limousine before they drove off to this fancy restaurant that was just reserved for us and the orlando's. of course our gangs we're there, it was only right. i was made to sit by johnny of course but my god he can clean up well, he looks so good. he has a white dress shirt on with some black jeans and dress shoes, with his hair all puffed out, i sat next to him while putting my purse on the back of my chair. johnny was introducing me to his family and his friends i obviously already knew them but it was cute how he got so excited telling me about them. the whole table was talking about how they wanted annie and johnny's wedding to look while johnny was trying to speak to me

johnny: you look so good

annie: you don't look too bad either orlando

johnny: don't call me that

annie: why? that's what i call you

johnny: no, claim me as yours now

he slid his hand on annie's thigh while leaving her confused. what does he mean by "claim me as yours" they're not together and we're never going to be actually together romantically, he's turning it into something else which is leaving annie madly confused on how to feel about this

james (johnny's grandfather): so johnny, tell us, what do you like about annie

johnny: i like her attitude, gives great character, i like her confidence and how she believes in herself i like her creative side and how she can think of a plan in a matter of minutes. i like her smile and her charm, i like how she's secretive but tells so much at the same time

james: sounds like annie might be a hit

they laughed while johnny turned red, annie thought it was kind of cute, johnny getting embarrassed over her

james: and dear what do you like about johnny?

annie: hm let me think

johnny gave her a dirty look which made her laugh a little

annie: well i like that he isn't scared of what could happen and just does it, i like that he's open with everyone about himself i like that he's loyal and you can count on him if you need him and he can clean up pretty well

nick: of course has to have the looks

dale gave him a nod before they started chuckling over something again, annie felt johnny rubbing her thigh with his thumb which made her smile but realized what she was doing which she made her smile fade quickly. she knew orlando was playing her to get something out of it. was it to embarrass her ? or to make his grandfather proud?
